So, licensed songs (that Cena apparently chose, if 2K's marketing is to be believed) over wrestler themes in menus? That means we'll get at least one Vanilla Ice song.

Well, that settles that. None of the new gameplay improvements on PS3 means I have to drop coin on a PS4.

Take it even a step further: Treat the model as if he really is The Miz like attributes, moveset, entrance, name announced and commentators treat him like The Miz.Hell make him have dubious accomplishments in the loading screens like "one time WWE champion" because Miz won it before. Knowing how petty WWE is they'd probably demand 2K to make CM Punk's A.I. constantly walk out of the ring cause you know...

I think I prefer it when they use themes than try and use "modern" music. All the EA games always do it and end up out of date pretty quickly.

And now the reason they've barely revealed any in-game footage comes to light. Because most of the audience will have a 360 or PS3, and if you advertise the realistic scanning in something like the roster reveal, then people will expect to see something at least vaguely similar, even at a lower poly resolution. But since 2K are so phenomenally incompetent that they can't get a wrestling game to run on systems that can do the likes of the Mass Effect trilogy, they've backed themselves into a corner where they pretty much can't reveal anything.

Ughhhhh. Everything is a reason to complain.
Let's also not pretend that Mass Effect had detailed facial rigs. It didn't. Most characters looked like muppets when they spoke. Bad comparison.

The ass kicking they've given EA in NBA games for the better part of a decade says otherwise. This isn't THQ. 2K doesn't reveal much for any of their games, so it's not just WWE.

Yeah, if they can't get a career mode in a wrestling game to work on the 360 or PS3, that's either greed or incompetence. There are games with exponentially more complexity than anything a wrestling game could ask for that happen to run perfectly fine on both systems. Ughhhhh. Everything is a reason to complain. Let's also not pretend that Mass Effect had detailed facial rigs. It didn't. Most characters looked like muppets when they spoke. Bad comparison. Mainly comparing that to the career mode, because of all the things Mass Effect remembered from across your games. But you can stick in the likes of Heavy Rain or LA Noire for a better facial comparison.

Especially since LA Noire took so long and cost so much money that it killed a company. It's like saying "Why doesn't Madden look as good as the Batman Arkham games! They must be really bad at making games!"

The fact that they can't seemingly offer any improvements to current-gen systems despite supposedly being the saviours of the franchise, actively going backwards in terms of coverage than what we got under THQ isn't exactly compelling, even if you think they shouldn't be held to any kind of standards compared to other games on the same systems.

They are offering improvements to current gen consoles. XB1 and PS4 ARE this generation. They're actually moving on early instead of handicapping it to make sure its level with last gen until it finally dies off. 2K's way of doing hype is different. Are we really that spoiled?

www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnViJkIPMdoDifferent guys now have different skills. So not everyone can jump off the top rope, not everyone can jump off of a chamber pod, run someone through a barricade, remove a turnbuckle, do a ladder finisher etc. So basically each character is now more unique in that they all play a little bit differently. Even having 2 different finishers and 4 different taunts are considered skills.

You do have a point there. My anger shouldn't be towards 2K for daring to make improvements towards current gen, it should be towards Yuke's and THQ for never making any real improvements during the last gen when they had the franchise.

I hope Triple H has exclusivity for sledgehammers. I hate when anyone but him goes for them, it never made sense and has been going on since at least HCTP.

Also, 2K isn't dumb, they know that, even with their tight-lipped attitude, the second they come out with a gameplay video or info/a look at some of the game modes, people will go as, if not more, apeshit than if it was a constant feed of info. As for the disparity between generations, I understand that people are annoyed that the 360/PS3 versions won't be as feature complete, but going as far as saying that 2K are incompetent/greedy is really reaching for it. Doing that kind of split is the norm for every company and, this is rich coming from a guy with an XBONE, but I'd much rather they work on making a feature as great as possible on the current-gen versions then reducing the scope or gimping it so they have enough time to port it to the legacy versions. I hope Triple H has exclusivity for sledgehammers. I hate when anyone but him goes for them, it never made sense and has been going on since at least HCTP. Yes! Triple H has sledgehammers, Sting has bats and the rest have kendo sticks.
