I think most of us would book Cena similarly if we were making as much money from him as Vince does. Aside from that? Probably not.

I would probably get a bit repetitive in my booking. Considering there is 6 hours of (main roster) TV to worry about every week (I'm only counting Raw, SD, and Main Event. Superstars doesn't count), I see how it would be a bit difficult to keep things fresh.

I don't know. I don't complain about stuff like a lot of people do. I try to reason out why they did something one off or unpopular. Usually I just tell myself to wait it out and 80% of the time (or so) I'm right. That comes with age I think. The Daniel Bryan thing last year was the first time I looked at it and said they knew they dropped the ball and changed solely because of the crowd reaction. At first I thought they were setting it up as a trolling but they damn near came out and admitted the foul up. Aside from that mostly waiting it out pays me off. But I am different than a lot of fans today. When I was younger I watched feuds that went on for a year. Now the payoff is faster and so it conditioned viewers to expect things quickly. They judge everything on Monday with finality and it may just be a bridge or a jumping off point for a story. That isn't a knock. I get it and I understand why fans react that way

Things would be a lot different if I was given the book, that's for sure.

Roman Reigns wouldn't be on a push to the moon right now, that's for certain.

Honestly, my booking would be similar. Just without silly swerves just for the sake of them (Nash texting himself. I'd have booked it as ADR since that made sense) and without pushing people who can't wrestle well ( Most bikini model divas, Reigns, Big Zeke) over those who can. Unless they have outstanding charisma and personalitt that overrules their mediocre in ring skills.

I'd be building towards an authority storyline climax of Daniel Bryan dethroining Lesnar at Mania 31. I'd separate the IC and US title into tiers with the US having the same value as the Old European belt with the lower mid carders being at the forefront. Bo Dallas would settle here and be that "division"'s feature guy

If given the book, I would be this generations Vince Russo. Pole matches as far as the eye could see.

No matter who is in charge, people would criticize and cm plain just because that's the nature of the business. I've actually liked the WWE this year more than I have since I was a kid. And it still gets a lot of criticism. Comes with the territory.

I fully admit that my booking would be horrible. I would try to be legit for like a week before I'd get bored and book bullshit for my own amusement.

It's hard to say. But I would strike when the iron is hot. If the fans are very vocal about cheering a guy (for example, Cesaro from earlier this year), then I would do my best to book him strong. None of this, "oh, he's getting over. Time to put a stop to that" style of booking.

I couldn't handle that position. Not because I think my booking would be awful, but more because Vince would likely throw it out and demand I rewrite it... ten times in a row. That sounds like the worst job in the world.

Honestly I think people would probably complain about me doing too many stats and numbers, because I'd be all about the G1/BFG round robin events and rankings. Throw in a double elimination tourney now and then, and I can already the threads with people upset that Raw's turning into a glorified athletic league and not a character driven show with angles.

I mean, you guys would surely watch me book Eva Marie over everything just to support me, right?
...Right?

I honestly think a lot of the boring things WWE does on air is to maintain their social status, but their social status is stagnant or dragged down due to their poor/boring quality of their flagship. It's a double-edged sword. There's no more risks taken until their hand is forced, or seldomly without provocation.
So, my full focus would be on the main product, which is the quality of Monday Night RAW and partially Friday/Thursday Night SmackDown. Everything sort of falls into place when the main focus is higher quality.

I showcase my (lack of) booking skills on my YouTube channel through WWE2K14. Soon to be through WWE2K15 - improved video quality may or may not make up for those (lacking) booking skills!
Crap...my page isn't monetized or anything, why am I a whore?

There's no way I'd deliberately cut the legs off of characters and angles that were getting super over with the fans. I like money way too much for that. So for example, there's no way Cesaro gets depushed after WrestleMania on my watch.

Cena would still be my guy but he would be more of a Tommy Dreamer or Sting. He'd always be the number 2 baby face but I would take him out of the number 1 spot. He would only be in the title picture for multi-man matches and would never be champ again.
I might put the IC title on him though to try to raise its prestige a little.

One thing is for sure, if I was in charge of booking there would not be so many repeat matches. Id like to think I could come up with something more creative than "Lets have Rusev v Swagger for the 8th consecutive week".
I wouldn't have bailed on pushes of Cesaro, Bray Wyatt etc over the past few months because I think having more main fresh main event calibre wrestlers on the show is beneficial to your company.
Id also do a lot more hyping and making matches for the next weeks show rather than simply hope viewers tune in because its Raw.
