Do some wrestlers try to "tough it out" or "suck it up" despite how much pain they are in? I know that John Cena has as well as Triple H. Just wondering.

Legit or Kayfabe? Legit, I'd imagine all of the men and women ignore and refuse it to a degree. Kayfabe, Ambrose just did it.

"You need to seat this match out." "No! I can't ever give up." "Fine! What do I know? I'm a trained doctor after all."

Yes of course they do. Thing is I feel that they are doing a better job of keeping guys out when they are legit injured, at least when it comes to concussions and the protocols involved.
In terms of wear and tear injuries and the like, guys work through them. Think they are all of the mindset that if they can't hurt it worse than it already is, and you can live with it then keep going. Well at least almost all of them. Some people hurt their finger and need a ref.
