There are a few more names they say have been confirmed for the project. www.pwinsider.com/article/88067/another-former-wwe-star-signed-to-lucha-underground-and-more.html?p=1They say Vampiro and Matt Striker will be the lead announcers. Also being said that Chavo Guerrero and John Morrison are likely to be part of it as well. Ricochet supposedly will be one of the top stars, and there are a few wrestlers from the most recent Tough Enough too. They apparently used to have a pic of the set, but that seems to be gone now. I've just been doing a google search for "Lucha Underground" every so often to find out more on this whole thing.

EARLY SPOILER NOTES FROM FIRST LUCHA UNDERGROUND TV TAPING by Mike Johnson @ 11:18 PM on 9/6/2014 {Spoiler}The El Rey Network's Lucha Underground series taped its first episodes tonight in Los Angeles. We don't have spoilers as of this writing as the taping requested fans turn phones off in an attempt to ward off results leaking out. So, based on what we have heard thus far, here are some plot points and highlights from the taping:
*Martin Casaus of Tough Enough fame worked under the moniker "Magnificent Martin" facing someone who I believe was Ricky Banderas under a mask.
*Matt Cross worked mask billed as "Lord of Havok", wrestling AAA female Luchador Sexy Star.
*Famous B and B-Boy appeared, wrestling under their usual names.
*Ricochet, billed as Prince Puma in a yellow mask, wrestled John "Morrison" Hennigan in what was said to have been an awesome match.
*There is a heel trio featuring the former Ezekiel Jackson, Ricky Reyes and 'Lil Cholo from the California indy scene. One person I spoke to believed the trio was dubbed "The Crenshaw Crew." Crenshaw is an area of LA.
*Blue Demon Jr. wrestled Chavo Guerrero Jr.
*No sign of Fenix or Pentagon Jr., although they were scheduled for the taping.
*Matt Striker and Vampiro were indeed the announcers.
*Chavo Guerrero and Konnan worked as agents for the taping. Konnan was there despite undergoing a hip replacement surgery just nine days ago.
*The crowd seemed to feature very little wrestling fans and a larger percentage of extras. As noted, fans were asked to keep their cell phones off during the taping.

This show going to be great because of the people involve. They know how to produce television and movies properly. Something ROH on Sinclair needs badly and TNA never really had great tv people behind it until Bischoff and Hervey came in. Production and presentation means a lot in wrestling. The reason why Nitro was a success besides the NWO and cruiserweights is the production. Nitro felt like a live sporting event because it was produce by Turner Sports in the early days.

Going by the spoilers, the talent involved, and the picture of the arena, this going to be Wrestling Society X: Lucha Libre Edition. While WSX was good and still talked about, I was hoping that this show would offer something different. Guess in pro wrestling, fresh ideas are just repacked old ideas.

I feel like every time Konnan comes up in wrestling news he's replacing his hip.

October 29th (pushed back from the originally announced October 8th) will be a 2 hour premiere, so presumably the first two episodes stuck together. And here's a preview pic of Prince Puma, who's portrayed by Ricochet.

And here's a preview pic of Prince Puma, who's portrayed by Ricochet. Is Prince Puma going to be "face of the brand" for Lucha Underground? This pic looks badass, but I wish Ricochet could've just been Ricochet. He's a big enough name that any upstart promotion could use him as a centerpiece.
