Remember when TNA pulled their talent from ROH shows because they thought RF was still involved, and couldn't possibly do business with someone like that? Now he's on their TV. Yeah, it is surreal, that incident altered the course of history, it caused AJ and Daniels, amongst others, to stop working for roh, it is the main reason why the internet fans lost their respect for tna, and it also caused that CM Punk stopped working for tna. If that hadn't happened, history would be very much different, but yeah it's weird to have Rob Feinstein doing a cameo.

Rob Black is a piece of crap for the way he handled the Messiah situation, but a TNA-XPW angle would be hilarious to see. Here is how I would have booked an XPW invasion of TNA since they did something similar in Los Perros Del Mal: Instead of Dixie Carter hiring Snitsky and Ezekiel Jackson, she should have brought in Supreme and Pogo The Clown to lay out Dreamer, have a few other XPW guys on the side and refer to them as ECW's successors with the announcement of Rob Black buying TNA. Rob comes out to a generic version of "I Disappear" by Metallica and does a shoot on Paul Heyman and ECW with Dreamer and Bully Ray looking on.

If that hadn't happened, history would be very much different, but yeah it's weird to have Rob Feinstein doing a cameo. Not just that, it was a big part of drawing the lines of who were ROH guys and who were TNA guys. It led to the push of Alex Shelley and Austin Aries in order to fill in the holes Daniels and Styles left in ROH's main event picture. It was the reason Joe and Punk felt that they needed to do something special and did a one-hour draw. Jimmy Rave, Roderick Strong, and Jimmy Jacobs all arguably got their big breaks thanks to the talent pull. Nigel McGuinness was given the Pure Champion vs. World Champion storyline that was clearly intended for a Joe vs. AJ feud in AJ's last shows for ROH. In general, the ejection of Feinstein and the resulting greater control of Gabe Sapolsky is often credited to ROH cutting a lot of its lesser talents and becoming a stronger overall promotion. ...it's kinda amazing to sit and think about the cumulative effect of all of that on the indy wrestling landscape.

You're absolutely right, if the Feinstein scandal wouldn't had happen, roh would be completely different, maybe it would've been considered as a tna developmental. It's funny that punk buries the company nowadays and said that he hated his time there, when he claimed back then that he wanted to be working for the both of them.
It also prevented Raven from appearing in roh again, which left unresolved a storyline he was gonna have with Special K and Becky Bayless. It was right after the punk feud ended. Special K was trying to cheer up Raven, and they offered him some pills, he took them and ordered everyone out except the girl which was Becky. They were using the fake rumor that he slept with her when she was 14 for the storyline.

I am amazed the IWC isn't up in arms over this. Give a few weeks. Most will want to leave a nice gap of time between them seeing the show and them raising hell over it. Cannot risk any cred by letting it be known you watch TNA.
