Top swedish wrestler Steinbolt had a wwe tryout three months ago. Two months ago he dropped ihs title in an AMAZING No DQ match. www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7AHkLkh7Z8&list=UUDtiY9YONHP-PBK-IvrxBSw (starts 1 hour and 18 minutes into this clip. Seriously, watch it!) And last night he participated in a tag-team match against Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Maybe wwe wanted to see if he could work safe against a veteran? So i reckon we can expect Steinbolt in NXT pretty soon. Watch the match and see what you think!

Steinbolt, hm...
Why am I now imagining the Swedish Chef from The Muppets cutting Scott Steiner promos?

Wrestling Hacksaw Duggan means you're headed to the WWE now? He put me in a headlock once when I was a kid, I guess that I'll be in NXT any day now!

No actual news on this, a bunch of conjecture, and WWE's hiring drive not moving quickly at the moment due to budget cuts.
Gonna go ahead and say, probs not.

I shall now restate my old idea for an evil foreign heel Swedish wrestler; he doesn't actually wrestle his matches, he pays other WWE stars to do it for him. He also gets defeats overturned-but instead of referencing some WWE rule book, he uses the Geneva Convention. And he taunts the crowds by pointing out how great the healthcare and economy in his country are.

I don't know Swedish but I think that says he's just getting a tryout for WWE, not that he's been signed. Still, good luck to him.

I live 15 minutes from GBG Wrestling's 'arena' and I've seen him a few times. I don't think he's anything special but he has the look, I suppose. And he only got a try-out.
