(for this thread, the assumption is great condition items)
The local pawn shop down the road, if it wants the item, it pays 25% of the typical brand new store price, then it sells it for double, or 50% of new price.
What would you guys think/use?

Pawn shops should be a last resort, only if you need money right then and there. Otherwise take your time and list it on Craigslist or something. Search online and find what the same item new and in the same condition as yours is going for and price yours accordingly. If you want to get a fair price you'll have to sell it yourself otherwise you're going to get humbled old country style.

I dunno, I don't sell my used stuff. Just get the f*** rid of it. Last time I needed to get rid of a futon my buddy took it in his truck and dumped it off on the street and the Mexicans came and took it.
They live like 20 to a house when they're doing work around here, so someone just got their own bed. Everyone's happy.

I'm in the same boat as well. I have a crapton of wireless routers that I would like to sell.
Should I do Craigslist first, and then eBay?

Dude use facebook yard sale groups I have been successful for about a year with it. Because people would rather stay local and deal face to face than on ebay.

You can sell stuff on amazon. My ex wife makes a good amount of money there.

And just out of curiosity: am I the only one who sometimes sees and episode of Pawn Stars, and whenever they spit out that shtick about "I gotta turn a profit..." I am always waiting for the other guy to say "WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M TRYING TO DO A$$HOLE!!!"

Look into your local stuff first- if your city/county has an online classified section (preferably free to post), go that route. Then, if that doesn't work, go to Craigslist and eBay. That's how I was able to sell my old desktop without much hassle or fuss.
