www.ukathletics.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/steven_borden_844214.html"Other than the NFL, my dream job is: professional surfer" He has good size but he hasn't been a big part of the team - only 3 receptions all of last year. But his role may be expanding. He did start yesterday's opener/tuneup game against UT-Martin and had 3 receptions. He's not an NFL prospect, but he's at a great school and he's contributing on a division 1 football team, wrestling SHOULD be the furthest thing from his mind at this point. It will always be there a few years down the road if he gets bored of his post college office job, or whatever's in front of him.

I wanted to see him show up in the WWE and do a "Romeo and Juliet" angle with Charlotte. Didn't tna wanted to do that but with Reid and Brooke? How tall is the kid? Damn Vince should've signed this guy and pretend that it was Sting, he looks awesome, it's cool that he wants to establish his own legacy and not be on his dad's shadow, kinda like Road Warrior Animal's son who plays in the nfl.

Well, of course he has no interest in wrestling if he harbours dreams of a professional football career. The Rock had no interest in wrestling when he was in college either. Hope that works out for the kid, but if it doesn't, he might find that there is just a smidgin of interest in wrestling, hiding away.

Sting's wife turned on him and had their son with Lex Luger.

If his backup plan is to be a professional surfer, will he paint his face like Surfer Sting?

Not saying he's under obligation to but he wouldn't be the first person to say they have no desire to follow in their fathers footsteps, only to turn around and start wrestling anyway.

Randy Orton didn't have any interest in it and was working as a gas station attendant. His dad brought him backstage to a WWE show and he was signed soon after. I imagine if football doesn't work out, a developmental offer will look better.

The guy likes football, so he plays football. You do what you like.

Lol yeah, he actually disliked wrestling, his childhood sucked because of it, on his DVD, Cowboy Bob admits that he only saw Randy about 10 days in a year. He actually joined the marine corps, but he got dishonorably discharged after leaving without permission, apparently a rattlesnake bit him and he went like "f*** this".

If Animals's son can go on and be a pro football star I don't see why Sting's kid can't do the same

If Animals's son can go on and be a pro football star I don't see why Sting's kid can't do the same The main difference being that Lauranaitus was decently regarded as a football player. Sting II doesn't have that luxury at the moment. Best of luck to him though.

If Animals's son can go on and be a pro football star I don't see why Sting's kid can't do the same Only a tiny fraction of college football players play in the NFL. Laurinitis won the college defensive player of the year award as a Sophomore. He was the best of the best.
