I sometimes watch modern WWE very casually these days after having more or less watched only indie wrestling over the past decade or so. I've noticed this stable called The Wyatts, and I can't help but think that if a new member of the Wyatt family (Are they kayfabe blood relatives?) were to emerge, The Necro Butcher looks liked he'd fit right in. Anyone who's seen matches like Necro vs Samoa Joe knows that Necro can do more than just deathmatch wrestling. Do you think Necro would fit in, even if it does seem like a long shot that WWE's talent scouts would look past the deathmatches that overwhelmingly characterize Necro's career? What's the deal with The Wyatts, anyway? Are the a cult? A family of blood relatives? Both?

I don't know if he'd pass their wellness policy, but then that's rumors for you. I would hope that he would.

The Wyatt Family are a cult. They are not blood relatives. The other members do not have the surname "Wyatt","; their names are "Luke Harper" (formerly known on the indie scene as Brodie Lee) and "Erick Rowan".
As for Necro Butcher. I'm not sure if he'd fit. He looks the part, but if they signed him, he would probably be better off getting over on his own. The thing with the deathmatches is not so much the worry that he's labeled as a "garbage wrestler" or anything, but that he beat his body to hell over a lengthy career (he's 41 now) so WWE might not get a lot out of investing in him.

Not really sure the WWE would be interested in a broken-down 41-year-old with a massive cannabis leaf tattoo.

I'd still rather see Bo Dallas hook up with them.
Bray's smooth delivery, plus Bo's grinning, delusional "Bo-lieve" motivational technique...

He'd fit, but he'd be redundant. You already have Luke Harper who's younger, bigger, and hasn't put his body through as much.

I don't know what the Wyatt's need, but I don't feel it's another member for now. I love the group and they are all really good at their roles, but they are all stale and going no where -- it's really a shame. The Cena feud did nothing for Wyatt and the same could be said for the Jericho one and I don't think they have any big plans for Wyatt following his win over Jericho. What a waste.
Maybe they need to bring in someone who's the higher up? the man who turned Bray into who he is today. Might be something fresh for the group instead of bringing in someone who fills in the same spot Harper and Rowen already fill.

Nerco is a little long in the tooth at this stage. And even though he looks the part, I'm not sure he'd fit the character of the Wyatt Family. Case in point-I can't picture him managing to hold composure as essentially a zombie the way Harper and Rowan do. I'd be perfectly interested to see new members added to the faction, but I'd prefer see it done in a storyline where Bray is brainwashing people.
Which leads to the part about the "deal" with the Wyatt's; they are a cult, not an actual family. They are a "family" in the way the Manson Family was. Bray, as the head of this cult, acts as the patriarch while the other cult members act as his brothers or sisters. Bray Wyatt is heavily inspired by the Robert DeNiro version of Max Cady, and in some of his old NXT promo's he quoted the character verbatim.

Might want to do more to increase their backstory, do things to modify Harper and Rowan, but I fear that adding more people would overextend and dilute them.

And is also seemingly dead in canon.

The real deal with the Wyatts is that they are a stable in WWE, they are in their 20s and 30s and reside in the swamp. Thanks for writing!

I would love to see a 'small' guy join them. A crazy high flyer who basically puts his body through hell and does a bunch of crazy spots/bumps just to prove himself to Bray and the others
