I Watched a Interview with Paul London and he mentioned failing the Wellness many times (for weed of course) and only had to pay a fine when he would fail
Jack Swagger was arrested for driving while high I believe and they didn't seem to punish him in anyway
So the question is .... Are there superstars smoking right now and simply have to pay a wellness fine or how does this work ,
Seems like a better alternative than pain meds

They have to pay a fine, but it doesn't count as a suspendable failure.
However, it will make the company halt somebody's push.
And of course, then there's Evan Bourne, who got taken off TV (and ultimately released) because he couldn't give up _spice_, of all things.

I don't see how RVD is there if it wasn't.

I don't see how RVD is there if it wasn't. I figured this is why he takes breaks. He cleans up during his runs, and then smokes to his heart's content during his time off.

Spice will seriously f*** you up though, so it makes sense that WWE considers it suspend-able and not pot.

Correct. Section N of the Wellness Policy specifically deals with synthetic drugs. corporate.wwe.com/company/abuse_policy.jsp#4

Bourne also badly broke his foot during his suspension, by the time he was healthy they just didn't care anymore.

Personal preferences aside, I don't see why guys risk their push to smoke marijuana, suspendable or not.

The Brian Kendrick "Cocky heel" is the most cliche gimmick in wrestling, but Kendrick could've gone so far with it. :/

For a lifespan of centuries and all that crazy psychic shit, I'd choose spice over WWE too.

I'm surprised we didn't get a full on pothead gimmick in the Attitude era.

I hate pot because it killed The Brian Kendrick. His music, his dancing, his entrance jackets, Ezekiel Jackson reading Cat in the Hat and everything else about him was one of my favorite characters ever.
