Waiting for the staircase to appear will be the most entertaining part of Raw?

A decent, even above average midcarder, who happens to be a former World Champion mostly because of the work of those around him, somehow gets a contract paying him more than John Cena and Randy Orton?

Michael Sam gets to talk about his feelings to a crowd who won't give a shit and didn't pay money to see him? Is this the guy who came out a while ago and then got drafted? I saw that he was dropped by whatever team it was. I know nothing about American Football, was it that he just wasn't good enough or is there some other story to it?

I suppose it was a combination of him not performing well in the playbooks and the fact that he was openly gay made it pretty awkward at times in the Locker Room. I don't care if he's gay but honestly if he thought bringing it out would help his Career, it hasn't, it's only made it worse. He's become more of a marketing toy than anything else, probably will send the message to other possible players to keep quiet until your career is over...

The team that drafted him (had the rights to him as a player) is absolutely loaded at the position on the team he plays. He really didn't have much of a chance with that team. So now any team in the NFL can pick him up and put him on their team but it's just another one of those cases where there's 50 other guys out there that can do what he can just as good as him, but some bring a little extra (outstanding on kick coverage, things like that) that make them stand out over him so no one has given him a job yet. To add to this I don't know why they were hyping it as "inviting Michael Sam" to RAW. All they are doing is hurting the kid. There is absolutely zero chance of him showing up, and especially saying anything bad about his situation. He's a fringe player trying to get an NFL job, he isn't going to go out and bury anyone. I really don't think this was fair on WWE's part at all. What are they hoping, he comes out and says he doesn't have a job with the Rams cause he's gay? Besides that not being true at all, it will just make sure he never gets a job in the NFL.

He doesn't have a job on other lesser defenses around the league because of his sexual orientation.

Not to derail the thread and last I'll post about it on here, but he doesn't have a job cause really, he's nothing special on the field. Undersized end with a slow first step who does well against lesser opposition but gets rendered invisible against quality tackles. That's his college career. In the pros he'll get that quality every snap of every down. He won't get to pad meaningless pre season stats against guys that will be bagging groceries by October.
