So, suppose the finish for the match at NoC is Brock locking in the Kimura and breaking Cena's arm. Cena still refuses to tap and the ref just calls fro the bell, because obviously Cena can't defend himself anymore.
What would you think of Cena actually carrying his never give up bit that far?

The Kimura Lock doesn't break your arm. It f***s up your shoulder. WWE needs to get that shit right.

I'd think he is a dumb motherf***er and get pissed when it is played as brave, heroic and something a real man does the next night on RAW.

He'll just get a robotic one like the Winter Soldier. Then we're REALLY f***ed.

It'd be a good way to build Brock's badassness, build Cena's character, give Cena some time off, rest, and a new, fresh return around Mania time. It's perfect.

How about when, on that same Raw, Cena beats the Wyatt Family, the Authority, Hulk Hogan circa 1986, and God himself without so much as breaking a sweat? You know to make sure that he doesn't come across as weak, because then no one would be able to take Cena seriously.

For any face. Yeah Austin passed out against Hart but that was to help turn him face and that was in the anything goes submission match. How is Jack Swagger brave or tough in a normal rules match if he passes out? He couldn't break the hold, he couldn't make the ropes, he couldn't counter. Just tap for chrissake. I know WWE thinks it makes the faces looks tough but it doesn't. It make them look dumb.

I'd rather be in this kind of pain than admit you won. And honestly if tapping out shouldn't be a big deal then neither should I quit matches and I don't think many people complain about them

Err.... no - as a grappler and a long-time MMA fan I can tell you that while the kimura can f*** up a lot of things, the arm is definitely the target. You can check out the second Frank Mir/Nogueira fight and the broken arm that resulted for Nog for verification.

Tapping out or submit to avoid serious and potentially permanent injury when you can live to fight another day should be the exact opposite. Getting yourself purposely injured because your ego and t shirt sales won't allow for basic instinct to take over should be treat as the dumb as f*** thing it is.

They'd do that bullshit where HHH was back in a matter of weeks and completely ok. Hell with Cena, he might be back on Monday.

So...Cena would be giving up then...if he took time off. If he had a serious shoulder injury, at least in kayfabe, he could say he's getting surgery and it won't be 100 percent until February. Then have Cena come back late December because his character deals with injury with the seriousness of a morphine addicted Terminator.

I'd prefer Cena puts up a hell of a fight and taps. It would dictate John Cena, the character, to become self-aware and develop. And god forbid be entertaining.
He'll break the arm. WWE will do their best to raise sympathy for Johnny boy. For like. A month. Then he heals. Like fricken Wolverine-status.But at the least, it'll still be a loss, as it better be.
