Cheap, weird/strange right now. 2 God-awful RAW's in a row, no more unique PPV stages, rematches galore. It just feels really cheap with no unique stages, it feels strange in the budget cuts and just straight up lame with the hundreds of rematches. Anyone feels like this about the company right now?

They may as well start rebranding all PPV's outside of the big four as 'In Your House' to really bring back that mid 90s 'We have no money!' feel.

Could we get Todd Pettingill back, too?

I can't wait to see Miz vs Ziggler part 10235 on SmackDown Friday. We fight on Friday Night's Maggle!

I hadn't watch for most of the summer up until last night, but I switched the show off at the first segment. The whole product just feels so...empty.

I just walked away during the Miz/Sheamus/I literally can't even remember who else tag match last night and didn't come back for the whole show. I just don't care at all anymore. People I follow on Twitter were tweeting throughout the show and it just sounded awful. I think I'm taking a break for a while, which always happens. After some time away it seems to improve your viewing experience.

I didn't watch Raw, not even one segment, last night for the first time in a long time. It sucks, too. I'm so used to being jazzed for Raw on Mondays, but I read the preview thread here, and there wasn't one thing that made me say "I have to watch this!"

I'm of the opinion that 2014 has just not been a great year overall for WWE. They've been plagued by injuries that have disrupted booking plans in a big way, the most obvious being Daniel Bryan. They have cut off rising stars like Cesaro or Bray Wyatt, and have repeatedly broken up some of their better acts like The Shield. The impression I get is that WWE's booking is just in a state where they are just going from one week to another without any real long term plan for where they want to go, and the few times they have it ends up being disrupted by injuries or other factors.

Their booking really confuses me, or at least the process. It's like they come up with the beginning and some stuff down the line, but fill in the middle as time goes on, most likely on the day of the show. The past few weeks really emphasize that point. Cena gets destroyed by Lesnar. Cena is out "selling" the beating on the Raw following SummerSlam. Who will Lesnar's next challenger be? They make the huge announcement...the next day on their Network-only show. Cena shows up the following Monday, and it is fully announced that he will get the rematch. The following week (last night) they say Cena might not get the title shot that was announced the week before, others say they should get the shot. All those guys and Cena have a six man tag, and with uncertainty, it is assumed Cena still gets the title shot. So basically they take two thre-hour shows to tell a story out of order and go no where in 2 weeks. And this is their main storyline, not even bringing up the other hideous storylines going on.
It just bums me out so much. I know I'll watch the Pay Per View, because I know the match they want to do, and will do. And I will pay to watch Brock Lesnar. But they have done nothing to entice me to watch the show from week to week. I can read what happened online, and if there's anything I missed that I want to see, I can find it in a number of places.
It blows my mind that they hire writers, and I would assume pay them a decent paycheck, and this is the best they can do. I know not all of it goes on the shoulders of the writers. There's channels they have to go through, Vince and Dunn being the ones that everyone points out. It just...gah.

Their insistence on John Cena being the be all end all of WWE is just depressing. Last night they were hyping up next week's rematches and Cole just butts in "BUT THE IMPORTANT THING HERE IS THAT JOHN CENA IS FOCUSED AND AGGRESSIVE". Cole is basically Vince's voice, so knowing that the plan going forward is more Cena...just ugh. I don't know if I can take cutting another act off at the legs for the almighty John Cena.

They need to realise that putting all eggs in one basket is a dumb idea, If Cena ever got injured they are f***ED!!
Rock N Wrestling - If Hogan was ever legit injured they had - Savage - Warrior - Ted Dibiase - Roddy Piper - Rick Rude
Attitude - when Austin was injured they had - Rock - HHH - Foley - Big Show - Undertaker - Kane
to fill the void, Hell they also had plenty of Upper midcard talent to feud with to fill PPV main events
Nowdays - Orton - Shaemus.....Maybe

It's only a matter of time before Cena injures himself very badly and is forced to take a significant amount of time off. I don't like sounding mean about it, but he is playing with fire if he is as banged up as various reports have said.

I haven't watched more than a few seconds of youtube clips since WM so yeah - agree that the tail end of 2013 up til now has been really off-putting. Which is freakin' strange to me because they've got a really good roster right now but they're not telling any stories I'm interested in or presenting them with interesting characters.
I do like to keep up w/whats going on but that's why I come here - that and to have a laugh.

The best RAW experience is having it as background noise while I refresh spam the RAW thread here because you guys usually make me laugh at least once an episode and during commercials go do laundry and other stuff. If it looks like it's going to be a crappy main event I usually pack it in for the night.
Last night when I saw John Cena was in the main event, I knew what the outcome would be so I went to bed early while my mom stayed up to watch. I got up for a glass of water and sure enough what to do I hear to close out RAW.
This forum pretty much keeps me in the loop to what's going on, but it's getting to the guest host era point where I had to take a break for bit because it got so bad.
I sometimes find myself missing BNB, Ambrose, Bryan and Christian but then I think even if they were on would they be booked on a show I care about?
I'm down to watch the show when things get interesting but for now kind of dipping in and out while keeping up through this board works for me.

There is nothing happening. Five hours a week(only counting Raw and Smackdown) and nothing happens. If you've seen the post PPV show, everything that happens on that one will continue through to the PPV. You could go a month without watching and miss nothing of value. Last night I tapped out early and missed nothing, there's something wrong with that. They don't mix things up, rematches and rematches are everywhere, stories have two developments and keep going and going... Raw is like watching a hamster running on a wheel for three hours.
