Ok, well since I live where I live, then I guess I might be the only one then. I Just wanted to take note on how many others here do.

Never been, and never will. I'd get called vulgar names.

I love the beach! I am a sun worshipper. I'm originally from Nebraska but have long since decided that I needed to live near an ocean/sea. There is nothing more relaxing than laying out snoozing while listening to the water lap at the shore.

to quote bill hicks " Whats the big deal? Its where dirt meets water. I have a bathtub and an imagination, so I am staying inside this summer. Then I can listen to some music I like."

That's the cool thing about living on the Chicago lakefront for me. I even like the lakeshore in relatively cold weather.

I've never been to a beach, as in next to the ocean, because I don't like to travel our of my state. I've been to lakes and places like that a lot though, and it's fun.

Great I'm glad others like the beach too. If you like lakes then I'm sure you would like the beach too.
The beach for me is fine and relaxing. Also with with the light trade winds. It's great to hang out with friends or family there while having fun in the sun, doing beach activities with the water, etc. It's also fun to scope out some of the lovely wahines. If you're a girl I'm sure you like to check out some the guys as well.
Of course I'm talking about the beaches here, so that might make me a bit biased.

I don't mind the beach much. It's a good place to relax and try and write something.

The main reason the beach rules is because of hot chicks.

I live in a Beach town. But I only like it to walk or run on in the winter months. Sand is a pain in the ass and there is a lot of Jellyfish and rocks at that beach.
What we do in the Summer. Is that my Mum has a Pool. And we are welcome to use it whenever during those hot summer days here.

The beach rocks hard dude, I go to the beach on lake Ontario every chance I get. I spent the whole weekend there just lounging it up on the sand, and going swimming when it got hot. For vacation, we go to North Carolina outer banks for a week once every few years, and I love it. Nothing like swimming in the ocean. I absolutely love the beach and hope to live in a beach community permanantly some day. Does hawaii need any web designers haha.
