Lashley is a prospect still. His mma record is ok, sure he has lost that does not make him a bum. Hell he got screwed by judges his other fight But he won tonight in dominant fashion IDK man. Ole' Franklin (yeah I find that name fits him better with that voice of his) is 38 years old I don't think you can call him a prospect anymore. He got put in there with a joke and it took him almost 2 full rounds to put that guy away. Guy had to literally stand up into a rear naked choke for him to finally put him away. I have never seen a guy flat on his back, in a totally dominated position, fend of submission attempt after submission attempt just by moving his supposedly trapped arm around while he gave the ref a thumbs up. No he's not a bum. Hasn't shown me anything in any of his fights to say he's good either. Well he stopped Bob Sapp via strikes....although my mom also defeated bob sapp, f*** even Triple H could kick Bob Sapp's ass.

Hell his winning percentage is a lot better

King Mo is up next, he just called his former boss Bjorn Rebney (the moron who probably ok'd the Lashley circus) a Dick Rider.

It's a good thing Russo is no longer secret booker, because had Lashley lost I would have been terrified at what they would have done to repair him. Pulling in guys for worked MMA fights but then having Lashley go out and act like it was a shoot.

I think Bobby needs to stick to pro wrestling.
He should jump to wwe now. The money of Lashley/Lesnar is right there and potentially could be built ufc style. If Xavier woods gets to be his hype man...

If Xavier woods gets to be his hype man... No way, Brock defeated tougher competition, and his fights sold over a million of ppv buys each, Lashley is damaged goods at this point.

You would be nuts to think Lashley/Lesnar wouldn't draw money. Two big guys.two good wrestlers. Just wondering how the match would be worked.

Lashley has been too long removed from the mainstream, even if the wwe takes him back at some point, they're not gonna put him against Brock, I'm not sure even the wwe fans remember lashley.

Who the kids? Obviously the guycomig back would get hype videos. He would get the wwe machine behind him. Then he would be fed to the beast and possibly just end up putting over barrett, sheamus, and those at that level

double post sorry, Mo almost got knocked out, what is wrong with the guy, he actually defeated Gegard Mousasi, the guy who's main eventing tonight's UFC card, he should focus on his wrestling not trying to become a striker, I'm kinda embarrased that he was at one time my favorite fighter.

It happens to all great grapplers
Instead of using striking to set up their takedowns their striking becomes their main weapon.
Mo is now kid Presentable

If Xavier woods gets to be his hype man... Nope. Brock actually beat top competition, Lashley struggled to put away a guy that should be working at Dunkin' Donuts. There's no way to build it that Bobby would have a chance against Brock.

Holding Lashley to Lesnar standards will only lead to disappointment. Brock is a superhuman once in a lifetime freak. Bobby is a good pro wrestler who barely knows what hes doing during MMA fights. If he put all his time into it, maybe. But to compare Lashley to Brock is unfair to him.

Now I want to see Josh "Fake Albert" Burns calling out Lashley for a rematch on impact.

Welp, its going to be hard for TNA to take that belt off Lashley can see him holding it for a good while yet, good win for the big man.

I'll agree with it being a win.
A good win I don't see for reasons said before. He should have ended that fight quick and painfully. Hell the guy he fought sucked so bad he got a jobber entrance.

Lashley really had no camp. Looked like he was still in "rasslin" mode and not wrestling

The guy he fought was a step up from paying Bob Sapp to take a dive.

The guy he fought was a step up from paying Bob Sapp to take a dive. Lol it was close, Burns hadn't fight for more than a year before "mysteriously" becoming Lashley's opponent, idk how the athletic commission approved this, supposedly it is their duty to approve the fights only if it's gonna be a fair fight, meaning the opponent wouldn't be incredibly outmatched like what we saw today. Scott Coker is a serious guy, knows what he's doing, he eliminated the stupid tournaments to earn a title shot, I can see him cutting Lashley after that abortion. Also saw Stephan Bonnar came out of retirement to face Tito Ortiz, that's gonna be a fun trainwreck.

Speaking of Bonnar/Ortiz, did Bellator hire Vince Russo to start writing promos for the fighters? They had Bonner do a shoot AND unveiled somebody wearing a mask who I didn't know, but apparently worked with Tito years ago. All it needed was for the masked guy to turn on Bonnar and team up with Tito.
