After 7 sent ballots and a lot of tie-breaking for the purpose of my sanity, we've finally arrived to a group of the best 20 matches in Big Show's career! I'll return with #20-#10 after lunch, but first, here's the Rest of the Best.

22. World War 3, 1 Point, Voted #10 once (WCW World War 3 1996) 22. The Big Show vs. John Cena, WWE United States Championship Match, 1 Point, Voted #10 once (WrestleMania XX) 22. Lunch is taking a while, so let's go. We're opening up the list with, what else, a three-way tie for 20th. Here goes nothing. T-20 The Big Show vs. Kurt Angle - WWE Championship Match - Armageddon 2002 - 3 Points (Listed #8 once)Since winning the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series of that year, The Big Show (along with new manager Paul Heyman) had run roughshod over the WWE. My Olympic Hero, of course, would not stand for this, and so would challenge The Giant at Armageddon. Despite interference from A-Train, Angle would hold on and withstand Show's assault. In the end, it was timely interference from none other than Brock Lesnar that would give Angle the edge, and the WWE Championship.

T-20 John Cena vs. Chris Jericho vs. Kane vs. The Big Show vs. The Miz - Money in the Bank Ladder Match (Winner gets a WWE Championship Match) - Money in the Bank 2012 - 3 Points (Listed #8 once)On Raw earlier that month, Vickie Guerrero announced that there would be a special Money in the Bank match that was only open to former WWE Champions. She had already announced that Show, Cena, Kane and Jericho would be the participants. However, the night of the show, The Miz made his return after a hiatus, announcing his participation in the match. Despite coming together to bury Show under a mountain of ladders, he would return with a vengeance, punching out Kane, Jericho and The Miz on his mission to win the briefcase. However, after taking a shot to the head with the case, the mechanism holding it broke, leaving it in Cena's hands. Cena would hit him again to knock him off the ladder, and would celebrate with his prize as the show went off the air.

T-20 Triple H vs. The Rock vs. The Big Show vs. Mick Foley - Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match for the WWF Championship - WrestleMania 2000 - 3 Points (Listed #8 once)(Fun-fact per Jericho's second book, he was supposed to be in Mick Foley's slot in this match. Alas.) Triple H had been WWF Champion for some time, and certain people were not happy about it. And so, this contest was made for the main event of WrestleMania 2000, which had the added cachet of having a McMahon in every corner. Shane would side with The Big Show, Linda with Mick Foley, Vince with The Rock, and Stephanie (of course) with Hunter. Despite being the odds-on favorite due to his size, the group ganged up to eliminate Show first. Next, Mick Foley (as he usually does in big match situations) came up short after coming up short on an elbow drop onto a table. One Pedigree later and it was all over for Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy. And so it came down to Trips and Rocky. Both McMahons would try to interfere on behalf of their respective representatives, but when all was said and done, The Rock wound up on the wrong side of a Pedigree. In doing this, Triple H made history as the first heel to leave the main event of WrestleMania with the WWF Championship.

(Thanks to Crappler El 0 M for providing this image!) T-19 Ric Flair vs. The Giant - WCW Championship Match - WCW Nitro, April 22nd, 1996 (Aired April 29th) - 4 Points (Listed #7 once)Our first-ever WCW match to crack a countdown. Last year, The Giant had become the youngest man to ever win the WCW Championship when he upended Hulk Hogan at Halloween Havoc, but the title was soon vacated and won by Randy Savage. After Flair won the title from Savage, The Giant would come back to fight The Nature Boy for a title he felt he had never really lost. At the end of the day, The Giant would defeat Flair with a thunderous chokeslam to claim his second WCW Championship.

(Oh by the way something you should know, THERE ARE A LOT OF TIES THIS COUNTDOWN. I only manually broke ties from 14 up because if I kept them all tied up, we'd only have 19 slots, and I'd have to include the ones that only got 1 point [and also I'd go insane]. Moving along...) T-19 Eddie Guerrero vs. The Big Show - United States Championship Match - No Mercy 2003 - 4 Points (Listed #7 once)Latino Heat seemed to have taken a special delight in torturing Big Show in 2003. Need I bring up the infamous spiked burrito incident? In any case, at No Mercy, Big Show finally had his shot at not only revenge, but Eddie's US Championship. And revenge was exacted. A Chokeslam would put Eddie down, and not only grant The World's Largest Athlete his pound of flesh, but his first United States Championship.

T-18 The Royal Rumble Match - Royal Rumble 2000 - 5 Points (Listed #6 once)With Triple H watching from the sidelines (though none the worse for wear after a brutal Street Fight with Cactus Jack earlier that night), 30 of WWF's best and brightest fought to win the Royal Rumble and earn their chance at unseating Lord Big Nose. After a long way to 2 men left standing, we came down to The Rock and The Big Show. Show (which would become a recurring theme over his career) came inches from winning the Royal Rumble, but The Rock managed to fight back and send The Giant packing to win a shot at Triple H. This'd become a four-way soon enough, but we've already discussed that... (Taking a bit of a break. Will be back soon with the rest of T-18 through T-15. I think that this'll definitely stretch into Monday though. Sorry.)

T-18 The Big Show vs. John Cena vs. Kurt Angle - #1 Contender's Match for the WWE Championship - No Way Out 2004 - 5 Points (Listed #6 once)Heading into the penultimate show before WrestleMania, three men made the claim for why they should be the one to face the champion. The Big Show was the runner-up of the Royal Rumble, and therefore felt entitled to a shot at the belt. John Cena was one of the fastest rising rookies in recent history, and would later get a title match at WrestleMania in his own right. And Kurt Angle? Well, he was an Olympic gold medalist. And so, the three collided at No Way Out to put the debate to rest. The Big Show ran wild over the two smaller men before they decided to team up and take him out of the ring. But when it was effectively reduced to those two, Angle got the best of the rookie yet again and made Cena tap, thus earning his shot at WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero at WrestleMania.

T-17 The Big Show vs. CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Tommy Dreamer - Singapore Cane #1 Contender Match for the ECW Championship - ECW One Night Stand 2008 - 7 Points (Listed #4 once)The year was 2008 and the World's Largest Athlete was once again looking to become the World's Largest ECW Champion. Standing in the way of his reign, however, were four very determined men and a load of Singapore Canes. Alas, the four smaller men, even when armed with the canes, couldn't stop The Big Show, who would earn a title shot against Mark Henry the following month.

T-17 The Big Show vs. Kane - Extreme Rules Match for the ECW Championship - ECW on SciFi, June 25th, 2006 - 7 Points (Listed #4 once)Speaking of ECW Champion Big Show, we go back in time, two years in the past, for this contest. A few weeks prior, Big Show had won the ECW Championship from returning hero Rob Van Dam to the revilement of the ECW faithful. At this time, an unlikely potential savior arose in the form of the Big Red Monster, Kane. The two monsters would wage war, but in the end, Big Show would take Kane down, leaving fans to wonder if anybody could unseat The Giant.

T-17 Team Lesnar (Brock Lesnar, The Big Show, Nathan Jones, A-Train and Matt Morgan) vs. Team Angle (Kurt Angle, Hardcore Holly, Bradshaw, John Cena and Chris Benoit) - Traditional Survivor Series Match - Survivor Series 2003 - 7 Points (Listed #4 once)The tension between Angle and Lesnar would reach a boiling point in the opening contest of Survivor Series 2003, epitomized by Hardcore Holly being disqualified for shoving the referee in his haste to attack Lesnar. Down 4-5, Bradshaw would eliminate A-Train with the Clothesline From Hell before falling victim to a Chokeslam from Show. However, Kurt would soon go to town on Jones and Morgan, eliminating them with an Angle Slam and Ankle Lock respectively before being eliminated by Lesnar. With the teams tied 2-2, after a battle between the four men left standing, Team Angle, first with a Crossface, then with an FU, would complete the comeback, with Cena and Benoit as the Sole Survivors.

The Singapore cane match was only for a title shot, not the title itself. Kane was ECW Champion at the time and Show get his shot the next month at Night of Champions in a triple threat also featuring eventual champion Mark Henry.

I'm severely disappointed that Big Show and Kane chain wrestling match didn't make the cut.

T-16 The Big Show and The McMahons (Shane and Vince) vs. Degeneration-X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H) - 3-2 Handicap Hell in a Cell Match - Unforgiven 2006 - 8 Points (Listed #3 once)After D-X's reunion earlier in the year, Hunter and Shawn made it their life goal to infuriate the McMahon Family. Vince being Vince, he didn't take kindly to this and so enlisted the aid of his son Shane and The Big Show to force D-X out of his company. This feud would culminate in a bloodbath Hell in a Cell Match on the same card as the Cena/Edge TLC Match. So naturally, good prevailed over evil, and Trips and Shawn got to make all the cock jokes about Vince they liked into perpetuity.

T-16 The Big Show vs. John "Bradshaw" Layfield - Barbed-Wire Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship - No Way Out 2005 - 8 Points (Listed #3 once)Something of an oddity in the annals of WWE history. A match that had never been seen prior and hasn't been seen since, yet was deemed the only way to settle the conflict between The World's Largest Athlete and The Wrestling God. As a quick primer, the barbed-wire lining the top of the cage took away JBL's biggest advantage, that being his craftiness. With the wire at the top, JBL would think twice about trying to climb over the top and escape. This also eliminated the possibility of The Cabinet running interference. Despite the wire being there, it didn't come into play that much, and had no bearing on the finish itself. To wit, Show chokeslammed JBL through the ring, and walked out the cage door, JBL being in no condition to stop him. However, just as he began to celebrate his title win, the referee ruled that JBL had been slammed through the mat and onto the concrete floor beneath the ring. Due to the "both feet must touch the floor" rule, JBL's reign lived for another day, much to Show's anger.

T-16 Edge vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H vs. The Undertaker vs. Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Big Show - Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship - No Way Out 2009 - 8 Points (Listed #3 once)Edge's latest WWE Championship reign seemed destined to come to an end within the confines of the Chamber. And indeed, not three minutes into the match, Jeff Hardy rolled The Rated-R Superstar up and sent him home early. The next elimination wouldn't come for nearly 20 minutes, when The Undertaker would eliminate Kozlov. From there, it was open season. Naturally, the three men remaining focused on Show, who was taken down thanks to a Swanton from the top of a pod. Hardy wasn't long for the match after that, as he would soon fall victim to a Tombstone Piledriver. Finally, after nearly 36 minutes, The Game planted Taker with a Pedigree and claimed the WWE Championship once again. However, it wasn't the end of Edge's night at all. In fact, it was only the beginning...

T-16 The Big Show vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Santino Marella vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Wade Barrett vs. The Great Khali - Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - Elimination Chamber 2012 - 8 Points (Listed #3 once)This match had a lot to take in, and it began with the cast of characters who would participate in it. We had Bryan, the reigning champion who had grown quite the ego since cashing in at TLC the previous year; Big Show, the victim of said cash-in who was growing increasingly upset with Bryan's tomfoolery; Barrett, who had ended 2011 on a tear that put Randy Orton on the shelf; Rhodes, the reigning Intercontinental Champion; and Khali who...was really just there to look tall and menacing. Then there was Santino. The darker-than-dark horse who had won a Last Chance Battle Royal to fill the spot vacated by Orton. Nobody gave him a chance in hell. A beautiful Spear from Show felled Khali, and soon after Show would lose his ever-loving shit and break into Bryan's pod. Distracted, Show would fall victim to a Rhodes-Barrett double team that dissolved when Santino rolled up Rhodes. After a Diving Headbutt, Santino would cover Barrett, and just like that, the Milan Miracle was only one man away from completing the ultimate underdog win. And for a few magic moments in Milwaukee, we all believed it would happen. A cocky Bryan was caught unawares and nailed with the Cobra, from which he just barely kicked out at 2. A shocked Santino was unable to keep his head in the game, and soon got caught in the LeBell Lock. Just like that, Bryan had survived the Chamber, but Sheamus loomed on the horizon.
