Not sure if this was mentioned, but at the Survivor Series 2001, Stone Cold comes out to some god awful rendition of Glass Shatters, which i have no clue to why because he has the actual song on Invasion 2001. After Invasion, he changed his music to this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCfiwgEE-Qk

Two that I always found peculiar is WWE editing "Together" and "I'll Be Your Hero" out of SummerSlam '91 and '93, respectively. Jim Johnston wrote both songs (although "Together" is credited to Johnston, Jimmy Hart, and JJ Maguire). Song publishing is credited to Stephanie Music/Cherry River Music, and I know Stephanie Music is WWE's song-publishing company. So I'm pretty sure it's not a copyright issue considering that WWE released The Federation Era, an album of 80s and early-90s themes also written by Hart and Maguire.
What makes the situation even stranger is that WWE's official YouTube channel has the original video for Lex Luger's song.

Garbage lol. I was watching it last night and was so pissed because one of the main reasons i decided to watch it was because i loved glass shatters He had several themes in that period. First they went with a super slow, ultra-heel attempt that I believe made its way on to one of the PS2 Smackdown games. Then they went for the fast version and tweaked it seemingly every week. Personally I love that fast theme. The glass seemed louder and the music synced to his BMF walk and made him just look like he was about to kill someone.

They are inconsistent in editing this theme, but they usually edit-out Public Enemy's theme from WCW. I believe it's still there on some shows of PPVs, but usually on Nitro they dub over it. Maybe because of them singing the lyrics from "Land of a Thousand Dances"?

DDP's Gary Glitter ripoff appears to be fine to play, just not his Nirvana ripoff.

Currently on 2002 for PPVs:
Weird moment- every licensed song they use as a PPV theme made the cut on the Network broadcasts for this year. However, they've cut the theme music for Maven and 3 Minute Warning, both licensed themes for actual wrestlers for vague non-soundalikes.

I like how at Wrestlemania XIX you can still hear All the things you said in the background while Victoria's dub theme plays.
