I actually like Simmons. I think you can make the argument that he's become kinda hackish, too NBA-centered, and inconsistent, but I still like a lot of his podcasts and find it funny how many of his fans get pissed off that an ESPN guy spends time talking about wrestling.

It was funny IMO, One fan trying to spur his hero on to victory.......only to have squashed in brutal fashion.

A child can not pick their father but they can add an amazing amount to a wrestling match by cheering for their hero. This is my new favorite go-to out of context quote ever. That said, I'd have hated to be in that crowd. Not because of the kid, but because I'd really feel bad about cheering for the decimation of his hero. "You mind, kid? I'm trying to enjoy a guy getting beat to death here!"

I prefer to watch the show with a kid who is into wrestling in a light hearted way rather than a fan who has to send results every 5 minutes indicating how much people are chanting for dean ambrose and showing photos of unoccupied wwe seats

No, I don't think you understand. It NEVER. HAPPENED. Okay? But, it did. I remember it happening. I saw the event. It happened. What happened?
