This is an urban legend. It never actually happened. I personally looked it up in the record book to confirm it and it's not there. ...... Stricken from the record book. If it's not there, then it means it DID happen. (Kinda being a pedantic ass, I am. ) Haha, some years ago on a long, late-night car ride I came across some conspiracy whacko on the radio who was going on a rant about the Civil War and how the Russians were really behind it. (He also said the Chinese had caused Hurricane Katrina, although if that was related to the Russians starting the U.S. Civil War, I didn't quite grasp the connection.) Anyway, he goes on and on about all the proof behind this and his quest to find it. The upshot was there were certain documents held by the British that proved this, and when he went to England to secure them in the UK national archives ... these documents had BEEN REMOVED, they were nowhere to be found ... which somehow proved his thesis. I am not making this up.

I was at Wembley Arena in March 1993 when Sting beat Vader - then Vader won it back in Dublin I think. I don't think that it was ever acknowledged as a title switch? I may be wrong though. I remember being amazed that they'd switched the belt on an overseas tour -earlier in the match we were even admonishing some little kids in front of us for claiming that Sting would go over.

I know it happened but I don't know if it was ever spoken off but Terry Funk in 00 won the US title from Lance Storm and losted back the next day. Funk won it in his home town and the next town he losted it back. I don't know if anything was said about it on camera.

So was the show I was at, summer of 89, I was 6, so the details are lost to time...so I don't remember the finish, other than believing Warrior won the title. I now wonder if they did this at each show on that tour. I heard that the Biloxi show was the first time WWF had come to the area. So maybe they wanted the fans to go home happy.Same show had Barry Horowitz beating Boris Zukoff. It would probably be close to the first time WWF came through here too, as I believe Stampede finally closed shop that year and my city was part of the territory.

Yeah,Biloxi was always a Mid South/UWF or JCP town. It wasn't until Mid South folded that other feds tried coming to the area.

I was at a Smackdown show in Belfast once where they didn't announce it was a 3-way elimination match for the Cruiserweight title 'til after the fall. Granted, I'm guessing whomever it was didn't kick out like they were supposed to, but there we go.

I can think of two off the top of my head:
January '93: The Nasty Boys beat Money Inc and were announced as champs, only to have the official restart the match because Saggs pinned the illegal man.
(Sometime) in 94: Owen Hart pinned Razor Ramon, only to have that decision reversed because Razor's foot was on the rope and the ref didn't realize it until after the count

Bam Bam beat Goldberg for the title in Birmingham (United Kingdom) in 2000 but it was restarted for some reason.
A match that baffles me as it's gone from record and has Bam Bam beating The Wall, which didn't happen.
