September 13th, 1999...
It was 15 years ago today that a nuclear waste dump on the far side of the Moon underwent a mysterious chain reaction and exploded, breaking the Moon out of Earth's orbit and sending it spiraling into the unknown.
Please take a moment out of your day today to remember the 311 people who were trapped in Moon Base Alpha at that time, and are possibly still out there.
