POUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCE-UH!
PERIOD!
I mean, it's so simplistic, yet so brutal. Such a shame that he retired, someone, somewhere should adopt it.
Oh, and cameo from a Pre-MVP Antonio Banks, as well as Kenny King. Assuming he pounced Lashley in ECW, he's hit the trifecta!

I know it's sort of a silly move, but I always loved the Canadian Destroyer. It was always part of the TNA highlight packages of the Fox Sports Net era.

Yeah, as wacky as it was, when I think of TNA finishers, the first thing I think of is the Canadian Destroyer. Shit blew my mind the first time I saw it.

The Destroyer because "Sick Flip Piledriver" is probably the greatest descriptive summing up of a move that Mike Tenay has ever given. Also, while not actually a finisher, rather a description, any time a finisher was hit and Don West was so excited that he said "He just hit him...with his move!" also brings back fond memories

The Pounce was cool, but seeing the Canadian Destroyer for the first time is one of those times that make you remember why you love wrestling.

Always let haters of The Destroyer to the back. There are plenty of moves that look ridiculous; the Canadian Destroyer looks more credible than an irish whip.

The Pounce was even better in the 6 sided ring, due to the angles he came from to hit it.

The Pounce is awesome. I know that David Otunga sometimes used the move, but it's not like he's been around to use it much. Wonder if Big E could use it, or Rusev or Ryback if they can build up some decent speed to put that mass to use. It'd look like a freight train.

Always been a big fan of Monty Brown, but never cared for the Pounce all that much. Always looked clumsy as hell to me.

The Pounce was cool, but seeing the Canadian Destroyer for the first time is one of those times that make you remember why you love wrestling. Yeah, I saw TNA live years ago, one of the matches was Petey and Sonjay v MCMG, finish was Sabin dodging the powder in the eyes, meaning Petey got it, then him accidentally Destroyer-ing Sonjay. I remember marking like a small child when he hit it, goddamn awesome.

How painful must the Pounce actually be, a former NFL linebackeris running full speed at you shoulder first with the intention of sending you flying

I must be one of the only ones who didn't like the pounce. There were a few in the montage that were fantastic...but I just don't like how forced it is most of the time. An Irish whip...then you run off the ropes and hit him? There just weren't enough of a wrestler charging in and him hitting the move with only a drop step or so to set it up. It would just make it more realistic and unpredictable.

Always let haters of The Destroyer to the back. There are plenty of moves that look ridiculous; the Canadian Destroyer looks more credible than an irish whip. At the risk of derailing the thread, people say this all the time and it's nonsense. In a small enough ring, being thrown into the ropes that way makes perfect sense just because of momentum. Bouncing off them back into someone rather than just holding on the ropes, on the other hand, is even faker than the Destroyer.

Also The Budget Cutter would be the greatest finisher because no one ever sees it coming

Love the Pounce and the CD, but I am a big fan of the Muscle Buster. I was a big Joe fan for a while. I'm also a fan of the Black Hole Slam- even though it sounds like a drink at an overpriced bar.

Loved Monty Brown. First big mistake TNA ever made was not having this dude win the title. Dude had star written all over him and they just completely blew it.
