For a few laughs, I decided to read Hulk Hogan's book again. At one point, Hulk Hogan talks about Dr. D, David Shultz and Mr. T. To quote the Hulkster:
"Dr. D's beef was he wanted to be in the ring too. Instead of me teaming up at WrestleMania with T, Dr. D wanted it to be him."
"'Dr. D and Mr. T' he would say. 'Dr. D and Mr. T' Over and over again until he convinced himself the whole thing was his idea."
"One night in Los Angeles when we were building up to WrestleMania, Mr. T and I were at ringside when Dr. D power-walked down to the ring. Fortunately Vince stepped in. Mr. T didn't know how close he had come to a beating. He couldn't tell if David was playing around with him or being serious."
If Dr. D was mad that Hulk Hogan was in the match instead of him (and to his credit "Dr. D and Mr. T" does sound kinda bad ass) why the hell would he want to beat up Mr. T, and not Hulk...y'know...the guy who's "taking his spot?" This story just makes no sense to me at all.

In Bret's book, he had Dr D pissed that Piper was in the match, not him. He was still planning on slapping Mr T during a live event to force himself into the angle.

In Haku's book, Dr. D was upset that Patterson was the referee instead of him.
In Warlord's book, Dr. D was upset that Liberace got to ring the bell.
In John Nord's book, Dr. D was upset that he couldn't wear furry boots.

Let's just say Dr D wasn't a fan of Mr T regardless of the angle or not.

I think Bret wrote that Schultz wanted to insert himself into the angle, then someone stooged him off to Vince or Patterson The funny thing is that dr d then went to Memphis and challenged Hogan to a fight, also in Bret's book he claims that Hulk actually pinned Dr D in a shoot match they were having before the show
