I'm going to catch heat for this, but when Bray Wyatt came in the feeling in the wrestling world was the gimmick and the performer was strong enough to propel him to the top levels.
Then John Cena happened.
Now they're cannon fodder for The Big Show.
Whatever the WWE tries to do, and no doubt down the road they'll try and push the Wyatts harder, their credibility is dead.
Strong mid-card careers? Sure.
Top level headliners? That ship has sailed. Too much damage done far too early.
Bray Wyatt needs to be booked strong to succeed. Because at root he's an average overweight ring worker.

I doubt you're going to catch any heat for this, since it's what people have been saying ever since he lost at Mania, and especially ever since that joke of a match at Extreme Rules.

As someone who grew tired of Bray Wyatt's nonsensical promos that sound deep but are really about nothing I am more than OK with this.

They really are screwed, after that Burial on RAW, I knew it was over
I had held out some hope after the Wyatt win at Summerslam, but it was just too much, Losging at Mania, Battleground, them not winning the Tag Belts from "Uso Stale"... the Booking has been simply awful...
I'm waiting for the Breakup Storyline to happen, because it is gonna happen, it's the next logical step in shit booking
If any of the three survive, I want it to be Harper, he's the best of the three, and is a star waiting to happen. Coming from someone who has been watching him for a long time.

Who's career has Cena actually hurt? That get tossed around a lot every time Cena goes over a board favorite. I can give you Wade Barrett and Zack Ryder, but who else falls under this "many careers?"

I would rather watch Hucky Harris any day I don't know if I'd go that far but I am completely over the Wyatt's. I was with them until the match with Jameison's kid, I was kind of with them after that till Mania. The Cena match didn't turn me off on Bray. The fact that he's just doing the same thing, week after week, saying the same thing did.

Must have missed out on those months of him losing all of his major matches to CM Punk, The Shield, and Mark Henry before he actually feuded with Cena.

You can also argue his storyline with Kane is what caused people to really start loathing the Big Red Monster...
Cena has ruined a lot of Careers, now that's not to say he hasn't HELPED some, but it's rare, really rare...

Must have missed out on those months of him Jobbing to CM Punk, The Shield, and Mark Henry before he actually feuded with Cena. He was still over as hell after all of that. The place was going unglued even that night when he came out and did the, "Feed me more!" chants. But, in the name of appeasing the Mighty Cena One, they turned him heel, stripped away everything that got him over in the first place, had him start riding in an ambulance for no reason, and had him become an utter f*** up who already had no credibility left by the time he and Cena's blowoff match came around. Yeah, stuff after that did further damage, but the only reason for the heel turn is because they only let Cena get shown up by other faces if they don't have a choice.

Sandow was a jobber before he feuded with Cena and went back to jobbing after. That's not getting your career ruined. Ryback was damaged goods going into his feud with Cena, having already lost all of his major feuds going in to CM Punk, The Shield, and Mark Henry. And frankly, I still consider the Wyatts a remain to be seen case since I'm not a fan of these knee jerk threads. People have been crying over the Wyatts being ruined since Wrestlemania even though they still have their heat.

Must have missed out on those months of him losing all of his major matches to CM Punk, The Shield, and Mark Henry before he actually feuded with Cena. Cena is blamed for killing Rybacks momentum because he should have won the belt from Punk around late 2012/early 2013, but they couldn't do it because Punk had to drop the belt to Rock, so Cena could get his win back and have his 47th title reign in the process.

Yes, it did ruin his Career.

Either way, I'm of the opinion at this point that for WWE to get any better, Cena has to go, and this current storyline's why.
Look at how Bryan was shoved aside when Cena was good to go again, or how they sabotaged Ryback first to keep onward with the plan of giving Cena the title at Mania 29 then further so that he had a challenger when Rock had to back out, or how Orton's entire run as a hot face in 2010 was built around himn being an avatar for Cena during the Nexus feud, or Punk turning heel for absolutely no reason in 2012. Now look at how things are going with Lesnar.
They should, if Reigns is indeed the plan, be building up Lesnar as absolutely unstoppable, so that when Reigns slays him, he suddenly is the most credible man in the company and has finally freed the WWE title from his grasp. Instead, Cena got mercilessly squashed by a guy fresh off of ending the streak, only to completely shrug it off, and now he's talking about how Lesnar's a pussy and he's going to do the same thing to him at Night of Champions while effortlessly blowing through everyone in his path. It's pretty much wrecked all of the aura that Lesnar had coming out of SummerSlam as just being entirely unbeatable, and even moreso if Cena does wind up winning the title back on Sunday. The plan with Lesnar should be for the longterm to build someone up, but that can't happen because everything has to come back to Cena winning.
