I remember that it was in the mid-90s. I believe it was immediately before or after the Shawn Michaels/Bret WM12 match. I remember seeing the Bret Hart "You Light My Fire" video and seeing Shawn train for the match. I was a kid so I thought it was pretty cool, of course didn't see the PPV. Next thing I know, Shawn's the champion and he's cutting a promo with Ahmed Johnson (the now IC champion) and I thought it was great. Back then, even though he wasn't active, I was an Ultimate Warrior fan. They just always brought him up and as a kid I thought he was great until they kept showing HBK constantly winning. He defending the title anywhere and everywhere. Hell, even against Goldust.
What about you?

I remember Kane vs. Raven. I'm pretty sure it was an episode of Heat, but it could have been an episode of SmackDown.

I don't remember the matches or anything but I happened to catch Smackdown on what used to be Big 58 which I think later turned into UPN. Anyway I want to say it was mid to late 98 but I'm not sure. All I remember is when DX came out and started crotch chopping at the audience and yelling "Suck it!" I thought, "Ohhh... that's where all the boys at school are getting that from." Think I was in 8th grade at the time.

I would've been about 4-5 I got wrestlemania vii on video for Christmas. I loved it and watched it continuously! I loved sgt Slaughter! I loved his outfit. I remember being totally entranced by the whole spectacle. Being young and not american I didn't totally understand the whole political thing and was crushed when the sarge lost. I was also terrified by the undertaker. I've been a fan since

I was seven or eight...watching my grandfather's TV because he had a cheater box (this was back in the day, kids) and happening upon a PPV. I'm pretty sure it was one of the early Wrestlemanias but can't say for sure. I wanna say the match was Big John Studd and...someone. I just remember being fascinated by the spectacle of it all and then it was all downhill from there

My brothers rented the Coliseum Hulk Hogan and WrestleMania 7 videos. I was enthralled by Hogan, as probably most small children were. It was love at first sight! I've been a fan ever since.

Geez. It was like Rick Martel blinding Jake Roberts with cologne or something.

I was flipping channels when I stumbled upon a WWF syndicated show. The heel Ken Patera was swinging a poor scrub round and round in some high school gym and the tiny crowd was cheering him to keep the hold on. It was hilarious!

My first life memory was of the Andre tribute on Raw after he died. I'm sure I watched wrestling before that but that's the first memory I have of life and wrestling.

I don't remember the first time I watched wrestling, but I remember the first time since I got back into wrestling. I was 12, it was a little bit after my birthday that year, and among other things were the mind-blowing sight of seeing Hulk Hogan and Chris Jericho in a WWF ring (I stopped watching wrestling altogether after the Fingerpoke of Doom until this show) and this guy Kurt Angle who my dad insisted was a big deal almost lose to some rookie dude. Yeah, that guy never went anywhere.......

Literally can't remember; my mom had my brother and I watching WCW back when I was like 2-3 years old. Today's my birthday, too, so that's a guaranteed 20 years now I've been watching this damned circus show.

I was maybe four or five and watching a VHS tape my older brother had. It was Scott Hall, and maybe Roddy Piper, and they were getting into a fight in a bar, or something like that? It's really hazy. I remember thinking "wow, am I going to get in trouble for watching this?" but I was fascinated and hooked from then on.

I remember watching TMNT one morning on USA and seeing an ad for Raw that was hyping the Headshrinkers vs the Smokin Gunns I think. I asked my mom if I could watch it later that night and the rest is history.

Do you guys REALLY have to make me feel old?
It was Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling (the Maritimes Provinces territory) roughly 1977-78. I would watch with my dad or my grandpa (who liked to watch a good fight ; staged or not). I remember seeing guys like Leo Burke, Sweet Daddy Siki, the Great Malumba, Killer Karl Krupp, Cuban Asassin, Stephen Petitpas. The territory would bring in guys from the USA territories, many of which went on to become WWF or WCW stars. I distinctly remember seeing Randy Savage and Lanny Poffo years before I saw them in the WWE. as well as Greg Valentine and Rick Martel. Hell, Ric Flair came to the territory in 1984 to defend the NWA title. I was never that big of a sports fan but I did like following the stories and would find myself getting invested in the matches themselves.

The first memories that I've is of the Attitude era on its peak with some Raw episode in 1998, Stone Cold coming in with his truck. In this part of the world wrestling only picked up or I should stay actually got started watching after 1997 only.

My earliest memory was watching a match involving Bullet Bob Armstrong during the early 80's. WKRP in Cincinnati was still on the air.

The 1994 Royal Rumble was on free TV in Germany back then. I remember some of the preliminary matches (Tatanka/Bigelow), but then, The Undertaker showed up and I was like "whoa!". Instant fanboy, and of course Taker wouldn't appear again until SummerSlam. I watched as much as I could from that point on, asking myself frequently why Hulk Hogan never showed up.

I was already sort of familiar with WWF from playing Smackdown with friends, and the first clear memory I have of watching an actual show was a Sunday Night Heat with Kane and Undertaker doing a dual Last Ride/Powerbomb to Kaientai. Which was apparently 11th February 2001. But then I saw Royal Rumble from that year, so I'm not sure if a friend showed me a taped version or if I'm just forgetting that I saw it first.

I remember Hulk Hogan wrestling Sid Vicious for the title and somehow pinning Rick Steiner to win after Sting interfered.
I started watching in 1999. In the UK. On Channel 5.
THOSE WERE DARK TIMES.
