Win Win for Simmons. Felt like telling the truth and probably already has a villa in Tahiti booked for a 3 week vacation.

Meanwhile Stephen A Smith yelling dumb shit, and making Skip Bayless look like the voice of reason in regards to the NFL continues unabated. Ray Lewis making comments about how some stuff can be covered up, is fine.

The Nashville Tennessean believes there's a "very real" possibility Jake Locker's strained right (throwing) wrist costs him Week 4.

You know, I agree with what Simmons was getting at but really, to use the language he did and then call out ESPN and demand they leave him alone, he was kinda asking for the suspension.

Oh I agree, but the suspension being more than what the NFL was going to do with Ray Rice originally is symbolic in a bad way.

The hatred should be directed at the owners, not Goodell. At the end of the day he's just the owners' spokesman/puppet/mouthpiece/overseer of how they make money.

Blaming the owners isn't really fair either, because the Players' Association would likely circle the wagons and take a lot of things to court if they felt like they were facing too much pressure from the owners and the League itself. This is a checks-and-balances system. Nobody has the power to act unilaterally, even if it is for the greater good. The League's very structure needs to change if that sort of thing is to happen.

More TD passes or INTs for Eli tonight? It could go either way.

@richarddeitsch
The Bill Simmons suspension ends Oct. 15. His new Grantland basketball show debuts Oct. 21 on ESPN. #mulderandscully

Bad Fumble from Cousins, I am not sure he is better than Griffin.
