I just love Carolina's powder blue jerseys. They just work. I'm still mad that Houston didn't come back as the Oilers and wear those sweet blue uniforms. The Titans organization owns the rights to that name, even using it for a spell when they moved to Nashville.

Patriots fans- I want to get your take on your game. Only 16-9 against Oakland?
The Pats teams of about 3-4 years ago would have slaughtered a team like these Raiders?
Also, how concerned should I be about the Bills? I mean, it wasn't great, BUT I think we looked better than Houston- whom they get next week!

I think if you're a Pats fan, you definitely have to be concerned that the Raiders nearly took it to them. No, not scared enough to hit the Panic button and deem the season a loss, but... it's the Raiders and your team has Tom Brady. I don't know the details of the Pats situation and who fans are blaming for the slow start, but something's up in Mass.
As for the Broncos, I'm pissed off that they lost, but after taking a while to cool down I'm proud of the way they took it to the best team in the league in the hardest stadium to play in right now. No, they didn't win and I'm getting really goddamned tired of Fox's conservative play-calling, but there are positives to take out of this game, for sure. The biggest for me is that all game long, excluding whatever the hell happened in OT, the Defense played NASTY. Lots of pressure on Russell and some great secondary play has me excited for what's to come this season.

Well thanks to Peyton remembering he was Peyton, I only need like 4 points from the Chicago D to win.

A source tells PFT that Adrian Peterson will try to accelerate his trial date.
Coach Ken Whisenhunt confirmed Jake Locker will remain his starting quarterback.

There's definitely reason to be concerned. The offense is a hot mess right now. The line can't block my 92 year old Grandfather right now. And Brady can't dodge like he used to so he constantly getting hurried and sacked. Say what you want about the rest of the AFC East bu they all have good Defensive Lines. If this keeps going Brady is going to get killed. But even when he gets time Brady can't seem to get on the same page with his receviers besides Edelman. Gronk is still not back to his old form and Amendola has been on a milk carton this whole season. And Josh McDaniels' play calling is suspect to say the least. Ball on the 3 against the worst run defense in the league and you try passing it two times? The saving grace has been the defense. Chandler Jones is a beast right now and the secondary is much improved. Outside of the second half against Miami there's been little to complain about. But as good as the defense has been it can't pitch shutouts against the Denvers and Indys. If the offense doesn't shape up fast it could be another lost season.

Forget Washington. Maybe New England should have made a run at DeSean Jackson?

The one good thing for New England (and I say this as a Bills fan) is that the AFC East is still going to be in their hands. Miami looks like crap and the Bills are still inexperienced. That leaves the Jets and Geno Smith who I don't think has it yet. That gets them in the playoffs and never know from there.

The Panthers are seemingly like the Braves: They get on the big stage and completely fall apart.
Also, Cam must be hurt or something. He's seemed off for most of the game.

Well, first they love me, and then they don't. Sometimes they do it, and sometimes they won't.

The over-the-hill Steelers keep old-manning it to another big primetime win.

The AFC North sure is shaping up to be interesting.
Not a single team in the division looks amazing, but not a single team looks bad, either. The division title should be a heck of a fight.

While Denver's defense impressed the hell out of me today, this game did remind me however was I was skeptical of them letting Moreno go.
I understood letting Decker leave, but I think MAYBE they pull this game out if they still had Moreno.
