I like how he puffs his cheeks out and goes crazy, it shows me he cares, like his character is in this situation and you feel it. A lot of guys seem too nonchalant about everything. He's got that weird Sid-type charisma, but in a smaller/more athletic/skilled package, and could be the best talker in WWE.
The bit with him getting out of the cab and the camera following him through the entrance was fantastic, and what really made it was the way he walked. If you had no idea who Ambrose is or why he showed up, you'd still know "oh man, this is ON", because of how Ambrose was able to project that feeling.

I keep wondering why did they take him away from TV to make a movie when Dean was at his hottest. Could you imagine them doing that during the Steve Austin run? Honestly, in this case it was probably the right call. He was only gone a month and even that was enough to make the pop for his arrival be enormous.

I am really looking forward to seeing where the take it; and if they actually do what they should and have him ascending to be the guy over the next couple of months. They really do have a chance for an Austin type rise if they keep on with him.

totally - give him a pipebomb shoot promo and do what they did with punk with him. he's more pillman/austin than punk was and people seem to like him. they are promoting him quite heavily already but yeah now is the time to push him hard.

Yea you can see that this is a guy that's gonna give you everything that he has in his body. The guy never had anything given to him on a silver platter, he has busted his butt for years in the indies and if he did not give up it's cause he had a passion like no one else had. And contrary to others, you watch his vids on You Tube from back in the day and he is raising Hell working for pennies. Even Austin did not do that. (although he worked briefly for pennies in ECW lol)

Saying that, we'll probably get the Big Show push instead. Dean is fantastic though. All three members of The Shield will be big names in years to come.

I just had an idea... why not when Rusev takes the US title from Sheamus have Ambrose be the one to defend the US? Don't have him go patriotic but play up how crazy he is and have him talk about how he never was pinned to lose his US title, and also paint the portrait of how Rusev dealt with the best of America so far, now he has to go against the worst of America... or something like that. Gives Ambrose something to do after Rollins until Mania build up and it's a chance to make the US title mean something again.

Ambrose needs to have a moment where he is just on top of the world, to end a show. I know he's had moments like that, but all I can think of right now is him being the plucky underdog who gets handled by the Authority in the end.
He's so close to being there, to becoming That Guy, who can't be ignored by the people in charge. He just needs one big, jubilant moment for the fans to revel in, to push him over the top. Give him the feud win against Rollins at HIAC, then transition him to something else, have the Authority pluck another guy to fight their battles for them, or even have them push him to go up against Brock, thinking that it'll get Ambrose killed.
I can see Triple H smugly booking a non-title match, to punish Ambrose, and Ambrose manages to con his way into it being a title match. Which he loses in heroic fashion, amazing everyone with his sheer disregard for the monster that is Brock Lesnar, and his ability to absorb punishment and keep fighting.

The cold, previously dead inside smark cynic in me got honest to God goosebumps when he came out that taxi.

I just realized that he's now the number two face in WWE, and number one in terms of being unanimously cheered.

He is just so naturally likeable its unreal. If WWE were smart they would push this guy hard now. If Bryan & Reigns aren't around he has to win the Rumble. But you just know WWE will give it to Cena or Rusev or something. Because that's what they want.

They don't see the product the way everyone else does. It's very strange. Vince reminds me of Montgomery Burns. Boo-urns. On the positive side, the WWF had a midcarder who was getting really over, but the company kept him from wrestling for a few months. Granted, he was still heavily featured on TV. Ideally, WWE would make the fans very pissed off at Rollins for taking out Ambrose (thus elevating a new top heel even more), and hopefully when Ambrose comes back the fans will go apeshit. Reigns works as the other up-and-coming midcard face to hold down the fort against the new top heel while the other babyface is away. I said this a month ago when I drew a comparison between how Ambrose is currently being booked in 2014 and how Austin was booked in 1997. If people can't look to the past when they did something right, not even something almost 20 years old but last year for pete's sake, then WWE deserves to fail. If Ambrose has the making of Stone Cold and it's like 1997, then the Authority should throw everything at him. And he needs to win the Rumble. He also needs to attack HHH at some point too.

Honestly I'd love WWE to go all in with Ambrose.
I'd love Ambrose/Rollins feud to become the new Rock/Austin

Like I said, that crowd response put it over the top for me. I'm a big Reigns guy, I see a bright future for him, but I'm also for giving the hottest act/who the crowd is most behind the top billing. Right now, that's clearly Dean. This might sound corny but the pop he got when he came out of the cab and his music hit gave me goosebumps, and I said, "this is your guy." In my head I was talking to Vince.

That pop when he dropped Cena. That's your guy WWE. Don't f*** it up. He's ready. Ambrose is the full package. He as a good look, everyone can vibe with his attitude, he has the size, skills, definitely has the mic work, he can do silly segments, he can do serious segments, Ambrose has his character down. The guy's got it.
