A broken clock is right twice a day. Unless it is digital and some of the lights are busted or it claims it is 88:88 or other impossible times. Or if it is a traditional one and the face fell off, or one of the arms comes dislodged. A broken clock, under the right circumstances, is right twice a day. Also, there are some really crazy clocks people get that tell time in really arcane ways, and I am sure that presents problems. I'm sure there are also ones in military time, and those would be right only once a day. Sundials are NEVER wrong.

And you know, people also take for granted that in the digital age many household devices also have clocks. Microwaves have clocks. iPods, have clocks. Computers also have clocks. I look forward to the hearty debate to follow.

Sundials are NEVER wrong. Except at night Techincally, they still are, as the sun does not shine on them at night.

Russo's opinion is shared by like 80 percent of this forum.

I hope in the future no one will notice Russo's blogs and no one ever draws attention to them.

This is like the second time I've seen Russo give a boilerplate critique of a show, where he sounds reasonable but says nothing at all really.
He still has no idea what he's talking about. This is the guy who wanted Cena and Heyman to join forces at Summerslam in an angle where they were fighting back against the writers. And this time he wanted a double pinfall, which is even worse than a DQ.

Russo can easily and sensibly tell you why something is wrong and you'll find yourself agreeing.
The moment he suggests an alternative way of booking it correctly you often realise he's insane.

he's complaining about the finish? This is exactly the type of stuff he books all the damned time, He's known to book unorthodox finishes which outrage the "rasslin' is serious business" crowd, not boring, pointless DQ's* *Which outrage the "rasslin' is serious business" crowd.

I can solve WWEs botching of Cesaro in 10 words. Turn him face and let him use the big swing. It's baffling. Here's a wrestler with moves guaranteed to pop the crowd yet he doesn't use them. Only explanation I can come up with is that they wanted to clear the way for Bryan/Reigns/Ambrose on the face side, and bolster the heel side, so they turn Cesaro. But he had such a great build to that face turn, the timing and execution were dead on...until the night after Mania. It's bad when they stumble on great stuff and piss it away.

Some people are just better as sunday morning quaterbacks than being in the action and that's the case with Russo.
But I don't agree that they have mostly their finishes right, I thought the Rhodes' win's finish lack creativity to me. It was just...there. And I was rooting for them and Cody. I wished it would have ended on something that fits more of Stardust personality. Maybe even find the Cosmic Key. lol

Russo is very good at telling people what they want to hear, but has lacked the patience to do what should actually be done in almost every example.

The thing is, the booking is already transcribing to what gives Russo a bad rep: building good story arcs but burning through them too late and forcing 2 or 3 months of development into 1, and booking towards non-fans knowing that die-hards won't leave.

We live in a world where WWE is utter shit and Vince Russo makes perfect sense. Think about that for a minute.

After what Russo put me through in the late 90s, I don't value his opinion on anything
