I'm sorry, but why is a suit Athletic Cut? An "athletic cut" suit is one where the shoulders are at least 8 inches bigger than the waistline of the pants. If you are a 40 jacket and have a 32" waist or smaller, your suit is athletic cut. Most "regular" suits are 4 inches in difference, because a 40 jacket who wears a business suit every day has probably lunched his way to a 36" waist. My suits are actually 10 inches in difference, so my broad shoulders give me an edge on keeping the V Shape. Depends on what convience store I go to. Actually, I'm 5'11" 265 lbs, but my weight fluctates. Any ideas on how to get back down to 220 lbs? Semper Fi, Erik Majorwitz Hey Erik, How was your weight monitored in the USMC? In the USAF, we were weighed once a month, and at a certain point you toppled into the WIMP program (Weight Management Program, also known as "The Fat Boy Program," basically Weight Watchers in Uniform). I was about 10 lbs from this terrible fate, although I think I could have hit the fitness marks in terms of what I could bench press and run that would have allowed me to weigh more legally. Was this just a Chair Force issue, because even our Flight Surgeons could barely keep the twinkies outta their hands, or did the Marine Corps do something similar?

Marine Corps has much stricter standards on weight control, I probably would have made it a career had they not pushed about weight so much. I looked good in uniform, but that wasn't enough for them. Oh, I believe that they considered naming the weight control program after me. Funny, I saw SNCOs walking around fatter than me, but they could run like crazy, I was never the running type. "Can't outrun a bullet" was my mantra. But I loved my MOS. Semper Fi, Erik Majorwitz

6'6 and 400 pounds. That would make me a super heavyweight. Even though, I only look 5'9" and 175 pounds, around there anyway.
I'm surprised no one did that joke yet. This is a wrestling fourm for god sakes. Actually, I'll do my height and weight in a different way.
I stand 5 feet 9 inches tall, and I weigh in this evening at an absolutely astonishing 175 pounds.

Yeah, and I should have said that if you didn't show improvement in USAF you were certainly subject to formal discipline, which would be even more embarrassing than even being in the Fat Boy program. But we were fighting the same weight problems in society, airmen getting sedentary and snacking too much. Ramstein was like a mall sometimes, "food courts" with the same fast food & snacks you saw in the states.
