What could have been done in the first half hour that couldn't be condensed in the 2nd. And hell there wasn't even a match.

What could have been done? A single one of them could have taken a sip of Diet Mt Dew and actually swallowed it.

Honestly I more or less treat 90% of the preshow stuff as training for on air personalities. It's like the NXT of non-wrestling action.

We need some A-Ry in a match. He should have bragged about being FCW Champion, when Big Show and Booker were poking fun at him.

I appreciate any effort to treat their product like a sport so I'm good with it.

I hate when everyone punches Riley in the dick over his wrestling career. And I hate that he isn't given another chance as an in ring performer due to being a "vanilla guy with no personality" when he shows all the personality in the world on the pre-shows.

This just shows me not paying attention if true. I know he did it the past few ppvs... and he always makes a face like he's dying

Do we need it, no. Still, it's an extra hour of pre-show build-up for those who want it, while being meaningless enough to be missable by those do don't. I don't see the problem.

The preshow was harmless. If it was only 30 minutes, the first 30 min would've been used for some other show that's available on the network anyway.

I really would have hated to be in that crowd having to sit through a pre-show that long and without any matches....god I miss seeing dark matches.
I remember seeing Ted DiBiase coming out to his "I Come From Money" theme for the very first time at Night of Champions. Also seeing Hunico destroy Alex Riley at Elimination Chamber 2012. I was marking for Hunico. The dark match Money in the Bank 2011 was a short tag team match with Otunga & McGuillicuty vs. Santino & Kozlov. The last time I heard the Nexus theme as after that night the Nexus was no more. Extreme Rules 2012 was another short U.S. Title match featuring Miz & Santino.

Wouldn't be shocked if it was done to get people to log in early and try to cut down on people slamming the service at 6:30 and 7:00

They can have all the pre show they want but it's weird having a full hour without a match in there somewhere.
Doesn't need to have a feud for it. Use the spot to have a WCW style "cruiserweight opener" to prepare the crowd.

I thought back when he was in NXT season 2 he'd be the next top face of WWE. Never really cared for the heel "Varsity Villiain", although I did like his match with Kaval. I felt he was a parody of a wrestler then, and thought he truly came out of his shell when he turned face. Like he had all this fire and athleticism that he barely got to use as a heel or as Miz's stooge. Didn't see him as The Guy, but thought he could've peaked at "eternal mid card champion Kofi Kingston"-level, possibly Rey-level if he were lucky. I personally wouldn't mind him as a pre-show/announcer guy if only they still booked him in matches every other week. Like basically make "wrestling commentator" his hook. His thing to set him apart from everyone else.
