KTVA (Alaska) News Reporter Charlo Greene was doing a live report on a Medical Marijuana Club and about the state's upcoming vote regarding legalization when she revealed... well... www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zzbtPzc-EULANGUAGEThe club had been asking people on it's Facebook page to be sure to tune into the broadcast. Thoughts on this? Anyone have other epic employment-ending tales?

How can you terminate someone who quit?
I like the idea she runs her own cannabis business.

I guess you could say she went out on a high. Though she may find out the grass isn't always greener on the other side. In the end, the network might be better off, it's always best to weed out those that don't truly want to be there.

She used to work at a news station here in West Virginia. I know a guy who knows her and she apparently likes to start crap and make herself the center of attention. It apparently worked here.

I saw this on morning TV just a few minutes ago. Pretty amusing. How can you terminate someone who quit? People in waste disposal do it all the time.

It's funny, but she is sorta screwing her co-workers over there.
Plus, hope things pan out for her with the cannabis thing (I mean yeah I'm sure they will, but still), as it's not like she'll ever get a job in that field again.

I understand why she did it, but come on, that was beyond immature. I hope this makes potential employers in the future realize that she's not a reliable employee. And for the sake of her immaturity, I hope her cannabis crusade falls flat.
If she had dignity, I'd be saying, "Good luck trying to legalize pot in Alaska". But because of this (and maybe because I"m getting old), I hope this comes back to bite her.

It was unprofessional to not disclose to her job that she owned the club. She did this for publicity, and got it. She isn't helping her cause by saying f*** it on live TV and making herself the center of attention...which by reading multiple stories on her, she loves to do.

I have lived most of my life in Charleston, WV. That girl's name is Charlo and she got her start at Channel 13 there. I know people that know her and have worked with her. Apparently, she is quite the firecracker. This was all over my FB and EVERYONE said this is not out of character at all and this is basically how she gets down.

She was certainly blunt about her decision to quit. Too bad her TV career just went up in smoke. In fact, you might say it's gone to pot.
