- It looks like TNA may announce a new network sometime this week. The Wrestling Observer reports that the company may make the announcement of a new deal by the end of the week. The company has been in talks with four networks at this point, and Spike TV is not said to be one of them.
It’s important to note that all of this is unconfirmed obviously and we won’t know for sure probably until the announcement, but all indications seem to suggest an announcement coming soon. Previous reports had the company in discussions with the Velocity Network and WGN America.

I'm just about 100% sure that I don't get Velocity or WGN America and on the off chance that I do have them I'm not going to search them out to watch TNA.

Its pretty sad that WGN would be a huge get compared to whatever Velocity is.

Public Access, here we come! I imagine TNA looking for a new network went a lot like looking for a network for a TV show in EWR. "MTV 2 has offered you a deal! Click to view details!...[Graveyard, Sunday Night, One Hour]." and Dixie's just like "We'll take it!"

YouTube videos recorded on a smart phone don't count as a Network, Dixie.

Whoa, TNA is gonna air on an old WWE D-Show? They need to air something that isn't Criminal Minds or Law and Order Criminal Intent

RFDTV and air alongside Hee-Haw reruns and that will be TV heaven for me. Right after Hee Haw, just before Polka Joes Polka show. Sometimes in the middle of that Dutch Oven cooking show.

Unless they somehow convinced Fox to put them on Fox Sports 1 or 2 almost any deal will be a step down from Spike. However I maintain that getting any national deal is still huge for TNA provided they realize that they are getting a lifeline that NO company as ever gotten.

Seen a few sites have posted this article and they all point back at the Observer, but I can't find anything there about it.
Then again I don't pay for site access but saw nothing in the article listing.

So if they land either of those networks will they still technically be more national than ROH? As in they could be viewed in more homes than ROH can with their Sinclair deal? I'm pretty sure WGN America is in more homes than the Sinclair stations. No idea about Velocity Network though.
I'm wondering if the other two Networks could actually be comparable to Spike though. I'm guessing not since the big guys are usually tougher to keep under wraps. I liked the idea someone mentioned a while back of TNA going to Tru TV, but I doubt Tru TV would ever consider it. Also, it would still be funny if it somehow ended up on some random channel like The Food Network. Hey, The Weather Channel started not too long ago and they probably need more programing. Get Rebel to do some sexy forecast readings and I think Impact is saved.

I'm hopping for HSN and maybe we get the chance to see a Don West cameo of winning in a pull of baseball cards for the hell of it.
