Is it fair to say that Spike was as big as they were ever going to get? I can't think of any other network that would show wrestling and isn't owned by NBC.

Wrestling in North America, outside of the WWE obviously, is just not popular anymore. Spike holding on to TNA for as long as they did was surprising.
Regardless, if TNA finds a network and stays in business, they should consider themselves lucky. Hopefully they don't immediately bring Russo back and repeat history again.

Come history channel, come on history channel! Sorry but after she tried to pass off Kurt Angle as new and in excellent condition to the fellows at Gold and Silver Pawn, she is now banned from History.

What if it's Logo TV? Will they bring back Orlando Jordon and make him their champ?

The Marty Stuart Show is currently airing on RFD-TV. I think Impact could do better ratings than this. I mean, not a significant difference in viewership because let's face it, Marty Stuart has 100% of the inconsequential Bluegrass demographic.

Whoa, TNA is gonna air on an old WWE D-Show? They need to air something that isn't Criminal Minds or Law and Order Criminal Intent They want TNA for Homicide.

WGN would be awesome, since it is one of the very few channels I get.

WGN is still on basic cable in many places and I know it's on directv. Plus they've started venturing into original programming with the Manhattan and Salem dramas. That would be a decent place for TNA.
I have Velocity but I'd imagine a fair amount of people don't, and out of those that do non-gearheads probably aren't checking the channel. It would be harder to re-establish themselves there. But it beats no tv at all.

WGN would be a good choice, but will the show still be 2 hours?

Come history channel, come on history channel! Impact could then be split up into segments of historical "reenactments" *Mike Tenay appears in a talking heads style interview with the caption "Mike Tenay, Wrestling Professor" underneath him* Mike Tenay: Now, a lot of people don't know about the time that dinosaurs almost invaded the U.S., but it happened. Oh, did it happen. *Cut to Gunner with a top hat on wrestling Rob Terry dressed like a dinosaur*

Also, wondering does anyone have a good link for television networks ranked by size? I'm talking cable stations and regular networks. I used to have a link for this sort of thing, but it has long been dead.

It's sad that they're now gonna have to compete with roh for the number 2 spot, well 3 if GFW ever exists, ok 4 if aaa in el Rey proves to be a success.

You're right it's just that for a mere moment in 2006 I believed in them, it was when Joe and Angle had the face off, I stopped believing last year when Dixie threw herself on the ground and latched on to Hogan begging him not to leave.

It's sad that they're now gonna have to compete with roh for the number 2 spot, well 3 if GFW ever exists, ok 4 if aaa in el Rey proves to be a success. There's absolutely no shame in being number 2. Where TNA ended up falling on hard times is when they tried to compete with WWE. Yeah TNA has had some really dumb things ever since coming to Spike (especially when they spent Angle's first year in the company basically bending over backwards to make him look awesome) but basically when Hulk and Bischoff came in they tried to compete the WWE by... basically doing what the WWE did but worse. When TNA was just being TNA they did a lot of insanely stupid things, but it was a charming kind of stupid that somewhat worked. And don't get me started on not using them promoting as TNA actually was able to get celebs and athletes when they were relevant to show up, but didn't take advantage with advertising. As for the other promotions, still gotta see what happens. ROH still needs to do a little growing while GFW and Luchadore Underground are unknowns.
