Many have been saying he'll be the next Kozlov(Always a chance) but the dude has been booked pretty great. Only thing to make it perfect is for him to win the US title.

Makes sense to me. Maybe they are waiting on the Russian Flag plate for the belt to do this idk?
I'm loving Rusev right now.

That question will truly be answered with the way they book him after his first pinfall or submission loss. We've seen it many times before, the rapid deflation of someone's momentum, going from something high profile to losing over and over again to various people.
They have been correctly using a slow build on him to this point. Its just a matter of not turning him into a joke in the future.

Many have been saying he'll be the next Kozlov(Always a chance) but the dude has been booked pretty great. Only thing to make it perfect is for him to win the US title. Or maybe they should resign Kozlove since he was a great wrestler and make him work for Rusev! But Rusev is fine on his own. I'd love to see him win the US title and the world title. Haven't seen ANYONE do that since Goldberg. Makes sense to me. Maybe they are waiting on the Russian Flag plate for the belt to do this idk? I'm loving Rusev right now. Glad you love Rusev. To me, yes. I thought he would become this bad ass foreign fighting-style wrestler, a la Samoa Joe, and win over the crowd with amazing matches and a very simple, but creative gimmick. Instead, they took a childish route with the whole Russian thing, which works for facing guys like Jack Swagger, but it gets tired when every feud is over America. Rusev just isn't that interesting right now and his gimmick has a blatant shelf-life. Just give him time, he will win over the crowd since he works such a realistic style and does things no big man can do like those kicks. My god what a kicks. He is very interesting though.

I see him going for the US Title once Sheamus drops the belt to someone American, judging from last night Rusev's next feud will likely be with Big Show.

I think people who thought he'd be Kozlov forgot that Kozlov was a pretty good dancer, and an utterly generic to shitty wrestler, and NEEDED to go the comedy route. Rusev doesn't, and therefore probably won't.

Good wrestler, horrible gimmick. I'm pretty sure he'll be really entertaining when Lana's gone and he's not being attached to Russian politics for no discernible reason, but right now, it's so hard to care. The Rumble's still the best thing he's done so far.

Have him win the US title, rename it the European title.

I like him. Though I'll confess, without Lana about sixty percent of my interest would be gone.

I'd like him much more if not for his terrible gimmick. His actual matches tend to be a lot of fun, at least, and you can tell he works his ass off. Though they seriously screwed up by having him win at SummerSlam; he could've afforded the one loss at this point and the win would have made Swagger.

Dude's hair looks so greasy that I think the problem is more that he needs someone to wring him.

I've been saying I'm a big fan of the guy since his feud with Swagger started. I think he's awesome.

I'm bored with the Rusev gimmick. He should have been feuding with the U.S. Title yesterday.

The gimmick is limited and can/will quickly descend into parody territory if they mess it up or keep it too long, but as a performer, he's great.
