He opened and closed the show and was pretty much the main focus of tonights Raw. Plus he was booked as unstoppable when he had those 3 on 1 beatdowns against him from the authority. With Roman and Bryan both on the shelf, Dean has enough time to prove himself as the guy. And as the most over guy on the roster I believe he will succeed and be the one to beat the one behind 21-1

I bet in 2004-2014 people were saying cena was going to destroy EVERYONE but... Touche' but Cena is about 2.5 years away from turning 40 and Ambrose is 29, a fresh face and he is over as f***. I know we re gonna have Cena wins lolz jokes but do you really think hes gonna be the "top guy" for over a decade at the age of 40?

All for it! That means Reigns can face Dwayne and retire him. Bryan can face Cena in Bryan/Cena 2 and maybe Rollins vs an NXT guy or Orton. Leaving The Lunatic vs The Beast!

Yeah he'll be "the guy" until Reigns gets back in action and then the company will turn Ambrose and feed him to Reigns.

He's been built up for a heel turn so Reigns has someone new to feast on.

Oh goody, that means we'll hate Ambrose by the end of the year. Well, seeing as how he has the talent to back up the accolades, I don't foresee this being true.

I think Ambrose is just a place-holder for Roman Reigns until he returns, even though WWE should establish many top faces like Ambrose, Cesaro, Ziggler, etc. regardless of what happened.

At the risk of sounding the joyless cynic, but upon Reign's return, if you focus really hard on the steps as Roman is coming down the stairs, you'll be able to see Ambrose's push exiting up the ones opposite. ....right into Kane's loving/feuding embrace.

If anything I would say the reverse is gonna take place. Now that Ambrose is firmly in top spot right now he is gonna be so compelling and just awesome and just continue his Austin like rise that it will make whatever Reigns does outside of his return night pale in comparison.

How is it not possible to push both guys? Lesnar/Ambrose isn't a match that especially rivets me. Is turning Ambrose really that horrible of an idea? Right now WWE has the most god awful heels on the planet. Sure, Lesnar is a heel but he's barely on TV, and Rusev has a glass ceiling to what he can do given his gimmick. So we're really left with The Authority as the main heels for large portions of a show and I can't think of a faction with less heat. Kane needs to retire and Orton needs a face turn desperately. That said, I can't imagine Ambrose as a corporate suck up character.

I wouldn't mind him as the top guy, but I don't see him beating Bork.

I think they prefer Reigns as the top guy but they're also keeping thier options open in case Reigns doesn't work out or Ambrose blows up.
