It's one thing to have the Miz go on a career resurgence by finding his niche as a Z-list Hollywood celeb who thinks he is on par with Brad Pitt or George Clooney.
It's another for him to take Damien Sandow with him, and have Sandow complete the act as stunt double by emulating ALL of his mannerisms. Special appreciation goes to Mizdow mimicking Miz's moves in real time, such as spinning around and dropping for the Figure 4 and grabbing headlock to think air while Miz is applying the headlock.
All hail the best gimmick in WWE, Damien Mizdow.

When the camera cut to him laying face down on the mat next to Miz I about lost it.

I love that he doesn't half-ass it in any way, he mimics every single gesture Miz makes, it's so great.

Damien Sandow is so f***ing great. He's like Cody Rhodes, in that, whatever he's asked to do, he knocks it out of the park.

He was even mouthing every word of Miz's promo during the pre-show.
Sandow is so good.

He throws 100% of himself into this and that's really what makes it so great.

I was already on board with Miz's gimmck (shock, huh?)...
But Sandow again proves how absolutely great he is.
It's no savior of the masses, but it'll do.

They're clicking amazingly well. Sandow adds a ton to Miz's act, and Sandow's stuff wouldn't be nearly as entertaining if Miz weren't being so over-the-top in the first place.

I loved how Sandow even had a toy version of the IC title with him.

Sandow is just fantastic at wrestling comedy, anyway, but Miz gives him tons of material and works excellently with him. This is an act that could get over pretty much any era of wrestling or any territory, since the idea of a narcissist and their toadie is pretty universal.

I love miz and mizdows current run. It's awesome. I just wish miz kept the belt rather than dropping it to Dolph who just sucks.

Something Sandow does too is that he's just a half second slow when he copies Miz. That little difference makes it a lot funnier.

Huge Sandow fan, he's my favorite on the roster, stoked to see the parallel appreciation. The man is a genius.

The end of the match at Night Of Champions when Miz was outside celebrating was hilarious. The little look Mizdow gives to make sure he is doing it right is gold.

I've criticised Sandow a lot as a wrestler in terms of actual wrestling ability. But the supporting, non-wrestling role is he pure gold. Great promos, great delivery, excellent facial expressions, great acting and, as mentioned in this thread, does little things that just add to his character perfectly. He'd be better suited as a manager than a wrestler imo since in the ring he is mediocre.
His outside of the ring skills remind me a hell of a lot of William Regal. He was another who could do little tiny, barely noticeable things that manage to add to a segment/skit.

I know that people moaned when he lost his mitb title shot, but IMO he was never good enough in the ring to be a main eventer.
But as a comedy act? Thenguy is perfect, in the attitude era he would have been over like a rover, I think that he will had a succesfull and healthy career doing this
