The WWE has some genuinely fun, inventive and engaging characters, at the moment. It's a shame most of them are relegated to jobber fodder or bit parts.
Mizdow is hilarious, and what makes it better is that the announcers aren't constantly going, 'oh, look at Sandow! He's just copying everything Miz does! That's hilarious/ridiculous/zzz-wuh? (delete as appropriate).'

Damien Sandow should be a manager or tag team guy for the remainder of his career. He doesn't have the ring skills typically required of a main eventer, but he has everything else.

I think being relegated to a manager would be a waste, but I could definitely see him as the Buddy Rogers of a stable of heels. The one who provides a bit of comic relief and gets picked on by the babyfaces in matches.

I love how the announcers are ignoring him as if they're treating him and the Miz as one entity. Plus there's this that's hilarious

I loved how Sandow even had a toy version of the IC title with him. That made me think he'd feud with Ziggler. Then Miz won.

I don't know about the best thing on Raw but he's certainly the most unexpectedly good thing on Raw. Like Fandango, he's taken a potentially career-killing gimmick and knocked it out of the park by devoting himself completely to it.
Love him

Might be a small thing, but I think there is a potential feud with Miz and Sandow over "The Miz" gimmick. Sandow mentioned in a promo that he might finally get his shot by associating with the Miz, and some of his pictures on WWE & WWEShop have gone back to the ones with him in the robe as the intellectual savior. Either way, this is all hilarious and awesome.

When the Miz was holding the title in pain at Night of Champions I was laughing hysterically.
I'm really digging the gimmick. It's not getting him that main event push this board once craved, but at least he is doing something.

Like another poster mentioned the split second that Sandow does to see what the Miz is doing then mimic him is what makes it all the more awesome. Plus, Miz works best when he has a lackey.

The thing is, Sandow is actually genuinely good at mimicking as well. He gets the mannerisms right, he manages to keep up with things he's not expecting, and he doesn't obviously stare at Miz all the time while doing it. It's actually quite an impressive bit of business.

I want Sandow to have a match against some local jobber..... then, during the match, whomever The Miz is feuding with sneaks up behind him... hits him with his finisher on the outside. Then Sandow... mimicing Miz, sells it in the ring.. allowing the jobber to get a pinfall on him.

It would be a good way to help some lesser stars get wins without it feeling like a "forced megapush" or anything like that.

I did not think I would ever like Damien Sandow, but he is doing a good work with The Miz, yeah.

The Intellectual Savior was good stuff. Damien Sandow: Cosplay Aficionado was good stuff. Damien Mizdow is good stuff.
I'm sensing a pattern here.

When Truth comes out with Ziggler, he looks at Dolph occassionally, but isn't trying to mimic him move for move, gesture for gesture like Sandow does. also you gotta love a guy who is copying a move outside the ring that Miz is doing inside the ring.

The fact he's going all in with the imitation is what makes it for me. When Miz sells, he sells. When Miz hits a move, he does it outside, when he gestures during his entrance, so does Sandow. It's beautiful.

He is pretty great. Hollywood Miz I don't care much about, but stunt double Damien is funny.
