Didn't some of the lost generation guys leave on their own? That they are free to return if they wanted to? I remember Morrison, Shelton, and Charlie Haas' cases being like that. I think Morrison was let go with the understanding that he could return at any time but it doesn't seem like WWE is interested anymore.

Shelton, Morrison, MVP. It will never cease to baffle me how WWE dropped the ball with these guys.

I want The Man They Call Jake Carter to return as Miz's new stunt double. Or as the "Seltzerberg"/Scary Movie version of Miz.

I'm conflicted about many of these suggestions. I do think there's a number of people WWE dropped the ball with that I'd like to see back, but I also think that it's not worth it unless the company is willing to push them higher up the card than they were before. I'm sure if you brought a guy like John Morrison back he'd put on some excellent matches, but if he just sits in the upper midcard as he did before, isn't he just clogging up space and making it more difficult for new talent to break through to the main event scene? It's the same problem I have with the likes of RVD currently (don't get me wrong, it's not the talent's fault).
That being said, I'd be extremely happy if the likes of Morrison or Benjamin came back, at least until they were booked in oblivion.
I would like to see Kurt Angle back in WWE even if they won't allow him wrestle. Clear out the Authority and make him a face commissioner like Foley. Have him manage someone against heel Zeb Colter or Rusev and Lana, or 'train' somebody like Daniel Bryan as they prepare to fight Brock Lesnar. I don't care what it is, get him back in some capacity.

For me, difference between JoMo and RVD is that JoMo is more likely to actually mix it up with those younger talents and have real programs with rather than simply "putting them over" in a very facetious way by losing to them in matches that someone like Zack Ryder could be losing instead. Morrison can work both face and heel, while RVD will lose to every heel while taking a coveted face spot in the midcard simply based on his name.

Morrison can work both face and heel, while RVD will lose to every heel while taking a coveted face spot in the midcard simply based on his name. I don't disagree; I think Morrison could contribute a lot if he were brought back. I just think that unless they are really run with with a 'name' wrestler returning to the roster, it's just another guy requiring TV time, requiring wins to keep strong, and so forth. Perhaps Jericho would work better for comparison. He can work both face/heel, can still put on good matches and works with younger talent. He basically occupies an upper midcard spot now. Despite his best efforts, he largely just feels like he's taking up space at the moment. There's certainly room for talent like that, but in moderation. All these guys require 'upkeep' to keep them relevant and competitive so that beating them means something. To put an end to my rambling, what I'm questioning is that unless the company really has plans for a returning wrestler, is it worth it? WWE really aren't in need of any more experienced hands to sit in the midcard, and they need to avoid stifling young talent because they desperately need new acts in the main event.

Don't know if he can still go in the ring but a Gangrel return would be good if done right.

You know I recently discovered that Pampero Firpo was still alive. I think pro wrestling is ready for the return of the Wild Bull of the Pampas.
