I think he was gone for a bit then came back in the summer. JYD was with the company going into 1988, and he was on SummerSlam, and I think the WM4 battle royal. Yeah, 911 vs. Ron Simmons. So bad, that this is why they needed to do the Fonzie angle. Now, speaking of which, this is taking liberties with the question, but apparently there was a Public Enemy vs. Gangstas match where Fonzie laid out both PE with a chair, leading to the finish. (I think this can be seen on Extreme Warfare Vol.2, heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice shoooooooooooooooooot...) Holy shit, I can dig that happening, the amount of heat it got Fonzie. I need to see that happening, I wonder if the ECW fans tried to riot like when Shane Douglas pushed Gary Wolfe with the Halo I dunno, you'd have to buy Extreme Warfare Vol.2, also with UNCENSORED....the night Kimona Wanaleia danced atop the ECW Arena!!!!!

Lord Steven Regal losing the TV title to Prince Iaukea, who at the time was a jobber to the stars' jobber. Rey Mysterio also lost to him during Iaukea's title run. There's a backstory to Iaukea's reign. In the WWF, on the Thursday Raw, there was supposed to be a title change where Shawn loses to Sid. Well, Shawn wasn't jobbing to Sid, so he "lost his smile" and vacated the belt. WWF wanted a title change to send fans home happy, so they had Hunter Helmsley lose his I-C title to some kid named Rocky Maivia. Around the same time, WCW had this kid named Prince Iaukea. He was Polynesian, he had a silly hairstyle like Rocky, and he was their son of a famous wrestler with South Pacific ancestry. So they turned him into their version of Maivia, including the part where he beats the "blue blooded" character (Rocky had Hunter, Prince had Regal) for a belt. I don't think Iaukea beat Rey Jr. I think they had a "15-minute" (actually 11) draw on a PPV.

...that stalking bullshit makes me think that VKM doesn't like money as much as a petty vengeance against DDP for hugging him when they met, and I think dallas also annoyed taker. But hey dallas should've refused to do that. DDP is a gem and too much of a professional (not saying this cause how successful his yoga has been) to refuse job He even took paycut to join WWE.

Yeah he could've made more just by sitting at home without wrestling. Poor guy according to Kanyon the one thing that pissed Taker and Vince off, more so than the hug, was that he tried to write his own matches and programs, it rubbed them the wrong way.

Big Show loses his first WWF match clean to the stunner. This didn't happen. Him losing was stupid, but he also took multiple chair shots and there was match interference.
