Undertaker's streak ending. It seemed on TV that it went off like a fart in church. I don't think that's what WWE was aiming for exactly. It seemed awkward and just kinda...weird to say the least. Punk chants to AJ Lee is also pretty bad. It shows fans don't care about her but the dude she's with. It's kinda insulting really. A bunch of nerds cannot accept the fact their tattooed Jesus has abandoned them and express their unhappiness towards this woman by chanting his name at her. Those two come to mind. Well those and when someone tries to emphasize Reigns to the crowd and it's met with a lukewarm reaction...lol.

Fans who chant overly smarky nonsense. "Husky Harris!" "Albert!" "Golllllldberg!" any of that nonsense. I went to an indy show last night where one of them yelled "Next time don't botch the facebuster!" at a guy. Absolutely ridiculous.
That one asshat in CZW who interrupted the Eddie Guerrero ten bell salute and is very lucky Kingston didn't beat him down.

There was a period a few months ago where it was 'Unless this show is booked entirely prescriptively in-line with our exact demands, wishes and expectations - we'll riot!!" - I didn't appreciate that very much.
In general I dislike any crowd that puts itself as the most important thing. The "we are awesome chant" disease. Yes post WM crowds are lively but I'd rather a crowd hot at the product reacting in an energetic way rather than 3 hours of people marking out for themselves.
"Hey honey, how was the show?"
-I've no idea but I busted out some AWESOME chants!!!!
....I don't see why this needs to be televised. Have a post Mania house show everyone who thinks they'e the best thing about the product can go to and the rest of us can carry on watching a non-derailed TV show we tune in for.

I would also add Nashville to that. Seriously I never understood how at some point it was known as a hot wrestling territory. How could TNA ever started a wrestling promotion from that place is beyond my understanding. They react to nothing. Poor Dean Ambrose was ripping his heart out the other day and there was zero reaction.

I sense some elitist attitudes in this thread. If the crowd bothers you then don't watch.

The reaction alone saved what was actually quite a mediocre match. The collecetive gasp was amazing.

Fans just sitting in awe whenever Alberto Del Rio came out, the man isn't that impressive! I notice no one here is complaining about the Daniel Bryan chants after he got released in 2010

I've grown a little tired of the "This is awesome!" chant. It seems like it happens every match (in indies) and once or twice every PPV. I understand the crowd really enjoying the match and being into it, but chanting "this is awesome" is just exposing it as a stage show. People don't chant "this is awesome" at a high scoring football game. They just cheer and boo and react accordingly.

It's one of the most unique crowd reactions i've heard at a wrestling event.

Given that there will never be another career-long main eventer who goes 20-0 at a companys flagship PPV, you can NEVER replicate that kind of response again.

When Bret Hart came back to general indifference. It had been years since he'd last been in a WWE ring, and THAT'S the reaction? Come on, man. That's Bret's fault. He waited FAR too long to come in, especially after he had the DVD, HOF and many interviews and clips before that. By the time he stepped back in a ring, it wasn't special. The only thing I wanted was Shawn and Bret facing off...and they squashed that moment in 5 minutes.

I still have the Wrestlemania thread bookmarked on the page where Lesnar won. Just to see the flurry of shock and awe (myself included) was amazing, and still incredible to see in hindsight. For those curious: Here's the thread.

It's not the worst but..."Cena Sucks".
Not for the idea with it, fine if you think he does, but because it always makes me feel bad for the opponent. Like - you're not good enough for us to cheer or boo you, we only care that you're Not Cena.
On rare occasion it's been great to get a proper "Let's go Cena / Let's go (other guy" duelling chant instead. Think there was one when he fought Batista for instance.

Saving this spot for tonight's CM Punk chants.
I'll be honest, the dueling Cena chants are getting cliche at this point. For that matter at this stage of his career, no amount of chanting is gonna drastically change Cena's direction.

Saving this spot for tonight's CM Punk chants. The only one that is notably bad of last night's chants and should be put in the thread: -During Raw: Brie Bella has a match with Cameron and Eva Marie. The crowd chants "WE WANT AJ!" throughout it. Later in the night, AJ Lee has a match (as in, the person the fans said they wanted.) "CM PUNK!" chants abound.

I went to Raw a few years ago when it was in Birmingham, AL. The crowd was a massive collection of morons and just horrible people in general.
A "YOU ARE GAY!" chant was directed at the Spirit Squad. Also, I watched a grown man call a little girl a bitch for holding her Cena sign up. I've not been to Birmingham since and I hope I never find myself in that sewer again.

I remember the Spirit Squad getting "FAGGOT SQUAD!" chants at least once.
