Try to pick just one! If I had to choose I think it is really tough to top Iron Maiden. While they have had some stinkers (Dance of Death!) the good far outweighs the bad.

So many to choose from. I like all the Maiden ones apart from that bog-awful cheap photoshop cgi Dance of the Death one. If I was forced to pick though...

I'm not too terribly familiar with them, but Band of Skulls has some seriously cool album covers; their latest one, "Himalayan" is just something else. Can't even say KISS for this one because a cover like this exists, Way to knock it out of the park, guys.

I'm going to take artist really literally and say that Dan Seagrave's artwork on the covers of 90s death metal albums all look really cool.

I want y'all guess which Madonna album cover is her best to me. Like A Prayer? That's my favourite of her album covers. It's like Sticky Fingers but fabulous and Madonna-y. I love True Blue's cover too. Really simple and to the point but iconic. I'm not as big a fan of the actual album though. (Ending a double post that weighs in on probably the exact opposite ends of the musical spectrum )

Honorable mention to the Open Your Heart cover:

I'm on my phone so can't easily post images, but I've yet to see a Motörhead cover I didn't like.

John Baizley, the singer/lead guitar for Baroness, is also an amazing artist. He's done all of Baroness' covers, plus a few for other bands like Skeletonwitch and Kvelertak: link to a website with all his workAlso, Yes' Roger Dean covers are great.

The obvious answer to this is Cannibal Corpse.

The obvious answer to this is Cannibal Corpse. Just reading that name makes my ears hurt! As for their covers some of them looked pretty neat. I think some of them are a little too on the nose though. Like this band is CANNIBAL CORPSE so here's some BLOOD AND GUTS! I'd mark though if they released an album and it was like a three year old kid blowing out a birthday cake or some doves flying through the sky.

Haha, yeah Aphex Twin covers are pretty sick. In a couple of ways.

The band, Helacaraxe, from New Jersey deserve a mention. They have released three albums so far and they are: Triumph and Revenge: Broadsword: Red Dragon:
