I admit to make fun of him and shit on him for the last years....but we're gonna miss him when he's gone. It's really hard for Kurt to hold grudges, man Bischoff f***ed him. I can't wait for his real hall of fame induction, Stephanie should do it, I think they were close backstage, she even teased on an interview earlier this year that Kurt would be welcomed back.

Kurt Angle in his prime vs. Daniel Bryan would've been a classic. And I still think it'd be a very good match now even though Angle isn't what he used to be physically.

Super Dragon had Angle vs Bryan booked for pwg, but at the last minute TNA called pwg and said that Angle wasn't taking indy bookings.

I imagine him walking to the podium his music blasting, all the fans cheering and crying, him spinning around like he used to do on his entrance.

whenever someone say they're going to retire in a year, I never believe them. If you want to retire, just do it at the time. Announcing your retirement in advance smacks of someone asking for a big "you'll never see me again" contract.
It's as believable as a Rolling Stones "farewell tour".
Yeah...right!

As Steve Corino once said, there are 2 types of retirement. The Terry Funk retirement, where there's room for a comeback. And the Bruiser Brody retirement, where you can't come back.

Edge and Christian or not at all! Cameo by Mick Foley using the chicken suit please. Nothing would make me happier than if during all this Edge made some joke at everyone else's expense on how he was the only one of the four not to go down to TNA. Kind of weird thinking how much abuse all four of them put their bodies through when they probably could've saved themselves a few bumps here and there when you consider how much they've gottten themselves over through charisma and personality.

Or the Santino retirement where you wish he doesn't come back

I think that's why even though he may feud with his former wrestlers Vince deep down will always love them because they put their lives on the line for his company.

I would also say there's the Ric Flair retirement, where it's done so f***ing well that coming back and ruining that would be the stupidest thing you could do. I'll say this...once Kurt throws in the towel for good, hopefully while he's healthy enough to do other ventures, I'll be sad. Kurt is my all time favorite wrestler, mostly because of those first 3 years with the company where he didn't have an issue making himself look like a goof. He was the highlight of every show he was a part of, always getting a smile or laugh out of me, especially with his interactions with Mick, Edge and Christian. And yes, having Edge and Christian induct him while in surfer mode would totally reek of awesomeness. I still hold out hope for a short run with WWE, nothing extravagant, but a few matches, specifically with Daniel Bryan would be amazing. Sure, Kurt isn't what he was 10 years ago, but even at 10% the man still could put on a great match.

Until he's gone we're never gonna comprehend just the kind of athlete he was, like winning an Olympic gold medal and entering the business at a relative old age of 30. Being able to do comedy and be a serious badass. One of the toughest men of all time, like joking around he even out wrestled Brock on a shoot, Kurt admits that he won because his technique was better but on an mma fight with punches allowed Lesnar wins. He was also described as a good guy, like pleasant to be around. Lance Storm once told a story about Kurt sticking up for lower tier guys once. When he gets inducted by Edge, Christian, and Foley, I wish he would also sing "Jimmy Crack Corn and I don't care...I have an Olympic gold medal." Come back home Kurt please.

Yes, and if he does come home, please don't be the "wrestling machine". Out of touch Angle hero was the best Angle.

No need to induct him in the Hall of Fame, he'll just turn it down until he can win a random match with Cesaro or something.

Oh honorable mentions go to the "I'm not a fan of the black people" promo, and the milk truck, man there are too many great moments I can't just think of one.

I'll also say that Kurt Angle without a doubt has the greatest wrestling non-belt prop of all time; the Olympic medal
With so many other things that are brought in such as trophies or cars, there's no long term investment in the prop.
I've said it before, but I was more emotionally invested in Kurt's medals than a lot of the wrestlers on the roster. When Austin threw them in the river, I thought for sure we wouldn't ever see those again.
