If they're going to force every single person to do it again this year, please have Miz and Sandow wear pink robe scarf things instead of making them switch to generic shirts.

What's that support the twins supposed to mean? Support the twin pair of boobs? It's like the "save the ta-tas" campaign. Tee-hee, don't you like boobies, horny males? WELL BREAST CANCER WILL TAKE THEM AWAY FROM YOUUUUUU It's a Bella Twins shirt. But yes they are also implying boobs.

I still think it's odd that a show that appeals predominantly to the male demographic (I don't buy the claims their female viewership is anywhere near as high as they claim - it's a proverbial sausage-fest) uses the one time of the year it specifically raises awareness for health issues to do it for a female health concern.
Now I'm not saying female health is unimportant but they're kind of well covered. Women are good at this kinda stuff. Men are TERRIBLE at it and so many young men die because of lack of awareness/ignorance. Yet WWE decides to essentially ignore this and promote a mainstream cause that gets a hell of a lot of mainstream attention anyway.
It feels a bit like the Harlem Globetrotters coming out and making their one campaigning issue trying to increase literacy among white kids in the suburbs. It's not a bad cause but it's almost a shame that something they could make a difference to, they don't whereas something else they're likely insignificant to, they embrace.
It just seems as if female-focused entertainment ventures embrace female health causes so brilliantly and therefore awareness among women of these things is much higher then men. Yet so many young men die of ignorance and entertainment ventures that could change that decide instead to embrace female health awareness campaigns. It seems kind of off to me and this is probably why so many young men do die - because companies that can make a difference decide to ignore them.

Oh great. Another October and more pink shit to read/see/hear about.
It's gotten to the point where breast cancer is the only cancer that exists during said month.

In case you absolutely don't want to give Susan G. Komen money, they don't spend a single penny on WWEShop.com until after October 31 as 5% of all orders on the site go to them. Here's the main shirt (also available in Pink and White): {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} And the Bellas Shirt (subtle): Men's: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Women's (also available in Pink and White): {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} The rest are pink versions of current merch (Hulkamania shirt and bandana, Keep Calm and Never Give Up and a generic Susan G. Komen/WWE zipper hoodie). So THAT'S why WWE filed this trademark application! Word Mark SUPPORT THE TWINS Goods and Services IC 025. US 022 039. They also trademarked Lumpy Puppy, but I don't expect that to fly.

Imo, heels shouldn't do any of that stuff. It's complicated. Heels are bad guys, but even heels probably aren't cool with breast cancer, probably have a family member affected, etc.. So if the faces can wear shirts and support the cause and all that, heels should be able to as well. In my opinion, if they must do this, have the pink rope and the ribbon the stage and some pink WWE themed merchandise, and leave individual wrestlers out of it. Things get too muddled.

Never mind the fact that there are so many other worthy causes (diseases?) Vince and company could be shilling for. Not just doing it for one that's become a corporate machine unto itself. For Pete's sake, our country may as well start calling itself the United States of Susan G Komen.

So i'm not really clued up on this.. So why are Susan G Koeman so bad and if they are why do WWE associate themselves with them? Awareness charities are money grubbing scams. If you want to donate to a cancer charity, do so to ones that are about research and that provide care for sufferers.

Some of the responses in this thread...
I know how much it sucks for all of you guys that you have to suffer through one entire month of pink shirts and talk about breast cancer. That must be so painful for you. But if it helps even one person, I'd say its worth having to look at a pink ribbon on the enteance ramp.
Yes there a lot of other causes that deserve the same attention, but to get mad that its at least happening for breast cancer, that's just beyond my comprehension.Whether its a juggernaut organization or not, its still a damn good cause.

Ugh, another October of pink and stupid shirts and yet more video packages focused on Cena's charity efforts. Don't break your arm patting yourselves on the back, WWE.

It's such a stupid idea. Why can't they just donate money to charity? Why do they have to fund a disgusting company like Susan G Komen? Why don't they do something for testicular cancer? Why don't they done Movember?
Why? Because this isn't about doing a good thing, it's about appearing to do a good thing.

WELL BREAST CANCER WILL TAKE THEM AWAY FROM YOUUUUUU Yeah this has already been a reprehensible angle on it. I half expect someone to do similar for cervical cancer, it'd be even more offensive. They'd have a ball with that one. DON'T YOU WANNA SAVE THAT SHIT FROM INSIDE THE VAGINAS?

I never knew that raising awareness for something like Breast Cancer was such a bad thing.
You'd think a pink shirt robbed some people in here.

Maybe, but this happens every month, where companies recolour any old tat pink, make a not-that-big donation of the profits to charity and make it look like they care. You'll find plenty of survivors who feel this way, not just those of us sat behind a keyboard complaining about it here. This was a really well-done article about this sort of thing from a couple of years ago
