The fact that the Authority hasn't been brought down yet, but they're implying the Wyatts are going to split is f***ing ridiculous to me.

Did anyone stop and think that , maybe, the vignettes just mean that Harper will be a singles competitor now instead of teaming with Rowan?

It's the right thing to do. You can only clip a bird's wings for so long. Bray will do well on his own and maybe the other two can find their own grove.

All the huffity-puff aside, it was a hell of a video package. Wonderfully shot and very striking in its atmosphere. Yes, there was a bit of Bray's waffle, but it was well-edited and Harper looked a monster. I kind of wouldn't mind a Harper solo-run with Bray as a mouthpiece.

Guys - it's not like Rowan wasn't seen in that video. It's entirely possible they're just rebuilding them each one by one - who knows, we may see a Rowan video on Smackdown or Monday's RAW...

I'm not sure what more you can do with the Wyatt's besides having random beatdowns that result in Bray going all High School drama performance with his nonsensical promos.
If WWE developed their characters much better and gave the Wyatt's reason to go after people it would make sense. I'm not even entirely sure what is driving Bray Wyatt. You could say it is to get followers but I can not think of any recent attempts to do that. It just seems his feuds are someone doing a promo, the lights going off, and they the Wyatts attack him.
I miss days were peoples motives were clear and the feuds weren't just for people to have something to do. The whole Chris Jericho feud could have been a lot better as it just came across as absolute filler.
Honestly, what is driving the Wyatt's to do anything? How is that being displayed to us? I guess we live in an age were a random beatdown is sufficient, but I want more damn it!

I'll be honest, Rowan is dead weight. I don't mind this direction at all. It may be the shot in the arm they need. Addition by subtraction. I don't get this at all. He may not be as a good a worker as Harper, but Rowan has more than held his end in the Wyatt Family matches. Harper wasn't having those great matches with the Usos alone. A lot of the time, I would argue that he was. Rowan has improved some, but still doesn't do much beyond the basic skill level of having generic matches. Of course there are particular spots/exceptions to that statement, but win or lose, Harper is almost always the guy in the ring for the finish/anything important.

So, what happens to Rowan now? Lost to midcard hell? Midcard hell would be a blessing for the poor guy. Two words (one spelled wrong): "future", "endevored"

Maybe it's going to be Bray and Rowan doing some tag work as Harper does some singles? I find it stupid how the WWE keeps breaking up the best things they have had in years. WHY are they so afraid to let guys get over to freshen up the ME picture? I mean they Wyatts where getting so over but they cut them off at the knees for the same old Cena crap. The Shield same thing so they can force push Reigns down our throats. I just don't get why they cannot let things happen the way it used too be when Austin and The Rock just connected with the fans so they rolled with it. The Wyatts where perfect fresh blood heels that is needed because the same guys cannot be on top forever before fans get sick of them. Why you think the WCW starts looking the war? Because Austin, Foley, and Rock where fresh talented MEers.
Fans didn't want these older breaking down vets anymore. Cena is what Hogan was in WCW. An act that fans are tired off. Yes kids love him and so did kids for Hogan. Most people now is tired of the same crap. Enough is enough when it comes too this.

The weirdest thing about Bray is how HHH still puts him over every single time in media interviews when giving an example of NXT benefiting someone. That is his go to, stock answer. If HHH is so high on him, why did this happen? I disagree with a lot of what is said about WWE, but the Wyatts definitely got cut off at the knees for no apparent reason.

Seriously??? Splitting the Wyatts? Why do WWE seem to always screw up the things the fans like? Its only a matter of time before they royally screw up Ambrose/Rollins

When I watched RAW I thought it was very cool to see Harper getting hype packages for a solo run, felt like a big step up from the small tag-division. Goes to show how subjective these things are.
Plus The Wyatts can still be a heel stable while having Harper doing singles matches, and still having an alliance with Bray.

One thing I've always liked about Harper over Bray is that he actually comes across as this deranged hillbilly, as opposed to Bray trying to play that character. For all the prattling on Bray does, nothing he says is anywhere close to being as chilling or convincing as Harper's "Peek-aboo. You're doomed." at the end of the video.

If this drives Bray to convert select people spinning their wheels into the family (complete with unkempt beard/hair), good. It's high and time they show the Wyatts/Bray at the compound, converting people into the Family. I think Wade Barrett and Kofi would be good "brainwashed" candidates. This is painfully obviously what they should have done with Kane this year when he came back after Bray took him out in 2013.
Or, they could alternatively waste them away, job them out to the chosen stars and have Bray cut more promos that essentially say nothing but sound cryptic. They spent 4 years TELLING us that Del Rio was a Mexican aristocrat instead of SHOWING us (after the car novelty wore off, they admittedly got him 100% right initially), so my hope is low.

So the cult leader willingly broke up the cult? Isn't that the complete opposite of what he should've done?

Bryan Alvarez on today's Bryan & Vinny & Craig Show at F4WOnline.com states the current plan is that Harper and Rowan will be broken off from Wyatt, and that Wyatt then acquires his new charges - The Ascension.
OH GOD NO.

OH GOD NO. I'm not opposed to the Wyatt Family getting new members, but I think the Ascension are better on their own. Or preferably with James Mitchell, even though that will never happen.
