Orton vs Lesnar would be interesting, so I'm happy for Orton to at least turn tweener. They're setting up his dissatisfaction with the Authority, and it makes sense because there's no way he'd be happy playing enforcer for Seth Rollins. Even more so when Seth is getting himself into more trouble than he can handle. But it would leave a bit of a hole in the main event heel spot. Seth and Kane? They'd need to push someone else up there too. Mark Henry getting a last heel run would be cool, but it looks like he's going to be squashing midcarders. The Authority bringing in Cesaro as their new guy would be a pretty nice move. What about Sheamus? Speaking of stale, him as a heel authority guy sounds intriguing. And to think, we could've had Sheamus feuding with Bryan post-WrestleMania, rather than that Kane mess we got instead.

Orton makes no sense. He works great as a heel, he just needs a mouthpiece & a good storyline. They are completely tone deaf at this point. Here's hoping they build up the issue w/him & Rollins well.

If he turns face. He needs to start hitting the mat to set up the RKO again. Its very unlikely that he will throw out his shoulder again and people would really pop to see it. He hits the mat to set it up now, hell, he did it last night.

It's funny how this is a scoop to them when anyone with a functioning brain can figure out Orton is tired of Rollin's and the Authority's shit as is Kane. It's really easy story telling that can be seen a mile away. I see Kane and Orton ditching Rollins one night but Kane ends up staying heel anyway while Orton fights Lesnar at the Rumble.

I will re watch all his in ring segments to see if i just missed it because I would have been super excited if I had seen it.

What I'd like to see is Orton turn face/tweener and Kane just go away after Seth Rollins goes off on them.
Then to make up for the loss of Orton and Kane, Triple H brings in Itame and Balor as superior back up that will inevitably turn on Rollins for being a megadouche, but would at least for a time could be built up to be a more serious, devastating threat that could also in the process bring the Authority more gold. I see Itame distracting Bryan and keeping him out of the title picture giving us Danielson/KENTA on a WWE stage. Balor maybe gets put over strong by Orton.
I don't know what you do with Cena though. Have Brock suplex him into oblivion again? I want an angle where Brock cripples Cena with suplexes and then goes to visit Cena as if Cena were a make a wish kid shortly before maiming him some more.

After watching his act for 10 years I really don't think there is much left in Orton, heel or face, to entertain me anymore.

Face Orton sucks... Haha I came here exactly to see this gif. Mizark's moving & bouncing fat really amuses me a lot.

Face or Heel I'm just completely sick of Orton now. This last heel run he's had has been terrible. He's done everything already and he's just so incredibly stale. The lack of a proper rival is really apparent with stuff like this, if WCW were still going and was still a big deal Orton could move on and be completely refreshed. Plus more guys in WWE would have an opportunity for upward mobility if those long standing top guys moved on.

He really needs to just go away for a while then the fans would miss him and want him back (not me I'll always hate him but objectively still) He's only 34 years of age, that always shocks me considering how long his career's been and how prominent he's been within in the company. He could take an entire year off and still come back younger than pretty much any other main eventer in the company.

I will re watch all his in ring segments to see if i just missed it because I would have been super excited if I had seen it. But Finishers with the long setups like that almost never hit. Cena's AA after the five knuckle shuffle is almost always reversed. Shawn Michaels will miss after tuning up the band. Ditto Kofi when he does the corner claps before the kick and Sheamus when he punches his chest Even as a face when Orton would do his mat pound thing his attempt at an RKO get's reversed. That said face or heel Orton's hasn't consistently entertained me in years and I don't think I'd miss him if he vanished.

I enjoy Orton's in-ring psychology but can't help feel his appeal would increase if he lightened up a bit. Not become the paranoid-droid he is at the moment but a cocky heel who girls scream for and guys hate because he plays up to their gf screaming at him.
A "yeah I'm not and your girlfriend knows it too fat ass" type character. A bit of a throwback but it's a gimmick not visited in a while - it could work.
Moody Orton is a bit stale

A face turn is sorely needed really. It will freshen him up for a bit to feud with Lesnar. But the guy has done everything there is to do so how long before he becomes stale again as a face?

Did Orton ever get his championship rematch? Nope. Been expecting that to be the catalyst for his face turn and match with Brock since Summerslam.

Orton RKOing the hell out of Rollins and then HHH would probably get a hell of a pop and make for a nice well-built up moment.
Orton reversing an F-5 into an RKO would be an amazing counter to see.
Outside of these two things, as much as I actually do enjoy Orton, I wouldn't be all that excited for a face run. I mean the WWE already has a unhinged, anti-authority, loner face, and Dean Ambrose is fresher, younger, and better on the mic than Orton.

This makes sense simply because Rollins is clearly ready to be the top heel at this point. Orton is just in the way.
