The Booty Babe was Kimberly Page. She was hot until she became a Nitro Girl and proved that the only place she belonged was in DDP's corner holding up 10's.
The Booty Man was like a horrendous alloy of the Barber and Johnny B. Badd.

What an awesome theme. This should be at least as popular as the American Males theme.

I wish I could have been a fly on the wall when this gimmick was conceived.
I'll never forget the night he debuted as this. The look of confusion on my face has never been matched.

Behind the times. Stupid. They may have wanted him to be somewhat like Jimmy Valiant mixed with Ed Leslie's apparent love for that style of tights.

When I think of when I first started watching WCW in 1996, I think of The Booty Man. I don't remember him being on Nitro that much, but I watched everything: Saturday Night, WCW Pro, WCW Prime, WCW Main Event, and WCW Worldwide, and The was a lot of Booty Man on those shows. And as a 13 year old I was always excited to see the Booty Babe and I was happy that they apparently kept it cold in there if you know what I mean.

You link to a video that contains Ed Leslie rapping and then put up a poll asking whether or not it's ahead of its time.

On relistening to his theme it actually sounds like a Divine out-take.
Now if we could all pull together a fund so big brother Brutus could cover I'm So Beautiful we'd all be better off.

Hated it back then. Almost as stupid as the Yeti. I loved how Dusty would refer to the Yeti as "The Yucca". Don't ask me why.

Wow, I'm not the only one who thought of Jimmy Valiant, vaguely, when this gimmick debuted. I guess him being billed from "New York City" and the '70s style music did it for me.

I always just thought they were trying to find some way of bringing back Brutus the Barber... only they couldn't make him Brutus the Barber. Kinda like how Ray Traylor couldn't be "The Boss" so they made him the Guardian Angel.

Brutus DID portray the "Clipmaster" (Barber basically, as you can guess from the name) alongside a face Giant, which never made it to TV.
