You mean the last few Neeson films were not taken films?

I had to stop the trailer half of the way through. It told me too damn much. I'm still gonna watch it.

Why not just have him wipe out the entire populace of continental America and be done with it?

Why not just have him wipe out the entire populace of continental America and be done with it? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Cause Denzel Washingotn pretty much did that already in The Equalizer.

Just got back from seeing A Walk Among The Tombstones and yeah it was essentially a Taken film in everything but name. Good though and Neeson is excellent as always so looking forward to Taken 3.

I'm getting Death Wish vibes from this franchise.

I'm getting Death Wish vibes from this franchise. Well this is becoming about as by the numbers and formulaic as that series so its par for the course I guess. I mean the Taken franchise has gotten so formulaic that they replaced the E in the title with a 3, wow never ever seen a numeric sequel do that before.

You get it? Because in the first one, Neeson told the dude that he was going to find him and kill him...and the dude said "Good luck" and now Neeson is told they'll find him and stop him...and he says "Good luck."
ISN'T THAT AMAZING SCREENWRITING?

Why didnt Forrest say They will find you and they will kill you ? I did nearly lose my shit when he said good luck. Movie looks awesome , but as the others have said the trailer gave away more than I would have liked known.

Just got back from seeing A Walk Among The Tombstones and yeah it was essentially a Taken film in everything but name. Good though and Neeson is excellent as always so looking forward to Taken 3. The only thing similar thing about taken and tombstones was the fact that Neeson played an aging badass. There was not a whole lot of action, & it has some actual acting. If anything I got a Taken like vibe ( not saying thats a bad thing) from the Equalizer ( Denzel did amazing, but that role Had Liam written all over it IMO)
