Sure Rollins' apology makes sense for his character. He's a cowardly heel after all. But couldn't they have had Brock threaten him instead? Or at least maybe stalk him for a bit before Heyman calls off The Beast? And on that note, I guess HHH is begging for another broken arm...

I have no clue why Triple H put the hard man act on, to intimidate Heyman at the end of that segment. Nothing Heyman did was out of line or a direct challenge to the Authority. He wanted answers for his client, and he got them.
I did like Seth's apology, because it fits his character. He doesn't have to be the Ultimate Asskicker heel who puts the fear of god into everyone. He's the smart, opportunistic heel who will swallow his pride if he needs to. And he doesn't want to make an enemy of Brock Lesnar, unless he has to. Not that Brock will take too kindly to him the next time he sees him though, I imagine.

Heyman was definitely feeling out who Brock Lesnar needs to kill to keep the MITB briefcase away from him, so I can see why Triple H had to emasculate him.

just figured rollins didn;t want to add brock to the already crowded list of people (cena/ambrose) after him so wanted to avoid that one at least.
though if he was smart he'd let the other three kill each other over who gets to face him then pick up the scraps after.

Triple H could beat everyone up, but he chooses not to because best for business. And Paul Heyman needed to remember that.

In response to the OP; if Brock was there, Seth wouldn't have had time to apologize. Brock would have just maimed him or at least try to while Rollins attempted to flee. With Heyman advocating, Rollins can speak his peace and Heyman can tell him he's doomed if it happens again.
Since that exchange did take place, I'm expecting that either Rollins does cash in on Lesnar successfully or costs Lesnar the gold directly. That would be the ultimate trouble for Rollins, and would likely be a cause for Orton to turn face saying "to hell with this" in the process not wanting to make an enemy out of Lesnar. Lesnar would probably take Kane out while Orton ditches and Rollins runs for his life.
The booking is just screaming that Lesnar is the monster the Authority can't control and will ultimately turn on them. Rollins cashing in on Lesnar, and taking the gold in the process would be the catalyst for the poo hitting the fan. Lesnar would be due a rematch with Rollins. Does the Authority cause shenanigans to help Rollins beat Lesnar a second time or stay out of it to avoid confrontation with Brock?

Although I think he will still F5 Rollins at some Raw soon and say there you go we are even. And that's it.

What the Hell is the point of that? The whole Heyman/Brock act should look like a menacing well oiled machine. The monster and the hard cold professional businessman that you shouldn't mess with.
