What about Ted DiBiase, he had a sparkly suit he'd rip off in the split second the camera would be off him. It was amazing - one second suited and booted the camera cuts to some kid in the crowd for half a second and cuts back and he's standing there in just his tights. I thought it was a shame nobody else did that.

Was surprised that Rey didn't make the list at all.

Was surprised that Rey didn't make the list at all. If he was on good terms with them I think he would have had an honorable mention highlighting his superhero outfits.

HBK has had some of the worst ring gear ever, and some of the best, but Savage - I've said on here before that I hate every single one of his looks.

I carry tools at work, and I rock a fanny pack for this position to carry some minor tools.
Elsewhere on this forum I've confessed to listening to wrestler themes through my earphones and pretending I'm making some sort of entrance.
These two things are related.

To me, Savage had some of the greatest looks of all time, both the original 3-star trunks as well as the Neon Cowboy look in the latter half of his WWF tenure.

Warrior, Austin, Foley in any of his three gimmicks once he hit the WWF, HBK from mid-late-'97, Crow Sting, Nash at any point from long-haired Diesel onwards... I could go on, I just think that Savage's looks are like getting f***ed in the eyes.

I get not liking it stylistically because HOLY f*** THOSE COLORS, but in terms of fitting the gimmick it was perfect. I'm with you on all of your favorites though, even Austin who rarely wore anything post-96 that wasn't black and white. All fit their gimmicks perfectly, like I think Savage did.

I never said it wasn't gimmick appropriate, to be fair . Besides I didn't care for his gimmick either!

Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam should have been on this list instead of The Wyatt Family and Dusty Rhodes.
Thought of Bret Hart as I watched too, but maybe if it were a top 20 list.

No mention of Ricky Steamboat's or Honky Tonk's attire? When I was a kid, seeing him in his karate outfits always made me think he was there for a fight and ready to strike....then his dragon outfit, maybe a little hokey in retrospect, still was a sight to see especially when he would breathe fire.
Honky always seemed to have great suits that changed on a regular basis....surprised he didn't get an honorable mention
