I didn't see it mentioned but is the El Ray network doing recap or reruns of LU yet? I haven't been able to catch it on Wednesdays! Sounds damn exciting though. Considering how many times they've handed over time to full marathons of From Dusk Til Dawn and Matador, I have to say LU's time is coming. Probably at the official end of Season 1 (whenever that is). Also...how does being named Cage make you a Machine? I'm still trying to figure that out. An automated cage that closes by simply pushing a button?

So unsurprisingly, they posted Puma vs. Fenix from this week's episode on YouTube.

Good episode overall, ya that was a great start with the 4-way. Angelico can seriously fly. They're obviously pretty amped about Cage, already setting him up to be in the top feud.

Angelico was good, but Aerostar was the one who really impressed me. So I'm guessing {Spoiler}Alberto will become the new best buddy of Dario Cueto? He'll probably feud with Johnny Mundo at first. They probably won't have him go for the title yet, since they want to do a Puma/Cage feud first.

I don't think this has been mentioned: Yep, he's achieved 2001 Ja Rule status. I liked Alberto way before it was cool and defended him before got fired for dubious reasons but he's overdoing it in working for all these different promotions. I'm waiting for him to debut in PWG (Not NJPW since they work with CMLL,not AAA) to complete the smark fave checkoff list. While ADR is getting the press, I'm more excited about Jeff Cobb debuting. Hopefully in a serious role and not jobber fodder.

Yeah I met Jeff Cobb at an indy recently, and aside from being a really cool guy, impressed the hell out of me in the ring. I hope WWE gives him another look sometime down the road.

Not magic, but it is made from the gold of the ancient Aztec tribes. I'm aware of that. I'm just saying how he seems to talk as if it holds some magic. lol I would love it if that were the case. Couldn't be any worse than the NXT title's heel turning powers.

I'm still a little behind (haven't watched Aztec Warfare yet) I just want to say that Matt Striker drives me nuts. Tired commentary, repetitive commentary, call it what you will, but Matt Striker is so irritating, annoying call him what you will.

Plus it helps that Vampiro tends to stop him from going full on smark mode.

It reminds me of when Mariah Carey got divorced from Tommy Mottola and she went crazy hooking up with everyone in sight to make up for lost time. Nothing against him working various promotions but space it out so it means more in the long run. Unless he took that "Becoming a big deal very quickly" meme to heart.

I like the idea of El Patron being like a modern day Ric Flair, roaming the world, appearing in any and all promotions as a ready made contender for the main event. Want a guy to freshen up the main event scene and make your home grown champ look big league? El Patron! I can imagine it getting dull after a while if you watch all the major promotions, but most people don't, and it's hard to blame a guy for striking while the iron is hot, making as much money as he can while he's still a relatively hot commodity.

Stryker doesn't bother me so much. He's far from perfect, but he gets the job done and gets the guys gimmicks over well enough.
regarding Del Rio, I don't really mind him showing up everywhere. As long as he stays around to finish a complete storyline I think its good for the wrestling business. Especially if he heels it up in Lucha Underground, gets beat by the face then goes back to Mexico for a while and comes back later. Keeps things fresh.

Most people here don't even watch all of the promotions he's been showing up post WWE. Again, I don't blame him for striking while he's a hot act but before long he's going get ice cold because of overexposure.

Tonight's episode will culminate the feud between Drago and King Cuerno in a Last Luchador Standing match. I was thinking this could be a mask vs. mask match. These should be done sparingly, but it would be a major happening. It's something distinctly lucha instead of a last man standing match, which would Americanize the product too much.

I'm very interested to see a longer El Mariachi Loco match. That guy had something.

Way too early in their feud to do a mask vs mask feud. Those are usually reserved for feuds that last a year or more. Plus the lucha commission in Mexico won't let them compete without a mask in Mexico even if it happened in the US. Maybe down the line. I would think a mask vs hair match would happen between Blue Demon and Chavo but Blue ain't losing the mask and Chavo's hair transplant cost some major scratch. Don't see him going through that again.
